“Thumbs up for Dana's”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

Completely redone for this year Dana's got it perfectly right! Beautiful new deck with awesome view, incredible view from the dining area. Dana is a first generation Maine lobsterman and he does know his seafood. nothing cheap quality here, the best. We go time and time again. Favorite is the stuffed items, he stuffs with scollops and crab and nothing else - amazing., oh yeah, the lobster pie is the best ever.

“You aren't missing out if you drive on by!”
Reviewed September 22, 2011

The whole experience was unreal. RAW SEA FOOD! Someone needs to redo the entire place, waitstaff, cooks, the old carpet! And SO expensive for the honestly terrible food and service. I will never be going there again, nor will I recommend the place. Go to Stewarts down the road and get a hot dog, I'm sure it will be better.

“Poor service, poor management, and uncooked fish”
Reviewed August 21, 2011

We stopped at the Rusty Anchor for dinner with family celebrating our recent wedding. We could tell from our entrance that things were disorganized as the staff was trying to determine where to seat us. The menu is quite outdated, which was disappointing considering the prices. The food arrived and my fish was undercooked and even in the dim light I could see that it was raw. It took getting the attention of someone other than our server to send the fish back to the kitchen. They returned my plate with the same piece of fish - the entire plate had been put in the broiler and came back very hot. The problem was solved, but not by our server and the idea that a chef would let undercooked fish out of his kitchen in the first place is quite unsettling. We will never be back. Period.

“Pleasant place & tasty food & great view of Lake Champlain”
Reviewed August 15, 2011

Soup, salad, apps, entrees all excellent w/strong cocktails!!! The view is very nice, casual place - I go in with just a t-shirt, swim trunks, and flip flops w/o feeling out of place. Owner is a very nice guy and the staff is very nice & helpful. You should not miss this place due to the view of the lake and good seafood. Try to go on a night the moon rises during your dinner. Worth every penny!

“Excellent food, service prices!”
Reviewed August 5, 2011

Fell onto this gem by accident driving by lost on the way back to Montreal from beach. Friendly and effecient service, delicious clam chowder, stuffed bake sole and to die for dessert! All for under $90.00 for two of us, including a great bottle of Italian Pinot. Comparable and better than most of the great restaurants in our hometown of Montreal.
Also sat overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain!!
