We arrived on September 14 and immediately tried to book one of the tours that they have advertised in EVERY publication. We were told they had none scheduled for at least the next 3 days because they went "yesterday". We were quite disappointed as this was the reason we chose to stay at this KOA and these tours are listed in ALL their advertisements.

We were escorted close to our site and abandoned. Having been told we should turn around at the end of the road and then approach our site from the other direction, we attempted to do just that -- only to find that the turnaround was filled with RVs and cars and there was no room to turn around. So, after about 40 minutes of backing/ maneuvering, we finally got into our site.

We were not sure what the resort fee is supposed to cover . We did see a pool, but that was about it other than a small pond with green scum floating on top. They also charged $6.00 for our 2 dogs. Again, not sure what this fee was for - there was no dog park (not even a treat) that we saw.

We did not use any of the facilities - laundry, bathhouse, etc., so do not know what condition they were in. There was a big convention of some sort at the resort so it was pretty full when we were there.

There is a train station fairly close by (driving time about 15 minutes). We were there on the weekend and found parking to be very plentiful and the train was easy to use for our daily trips to New York City. Tip: If you go during the week, go after 10:00 a.m. and park in the reserved spots. The reserved spots are only held until 10:00 a.m. (It is stated on the sign). We used the train to go to Grand Central Station and used the double decker bus greyline for our tours.

The wife and I spent a weekend here, great CG clean, well kept, nice size campstore, they even had wine tasteing on friday and saturday!! The one thing is their $5 "resort fee" they should just add it into the nightly fee but you do get free pancakes on fri/sat/sundays. We will surely be back!

Like this KOA because the staff is lovely and accommodating. Loved my stay during the week but on the weekend people were loud til 3am and there are lines for bathroom and shower. Sights are not great for tent camping a lot of gravel and need to be cleaned up a little better. (charcoal, bottle caps, etc.) Wine tasting on the weekend & movie are adorable and pools are awesome. I will go back, but wish sights would be better cleaned up and that tent sights were higher quality. Kids love this KOA.

My husband and I just returned from an awesome weekend here. We went with my daughter's family and three family friends of theirs, total 10 adults, 8 kids. We all stayed in Kamping Kabins which were great since we had some rain over the weekend. We were able to all be together in the kabins 114-118. There is lots to do here both for the adults and kids. As a matter of fact we used to bring our kids here to camp in a tent when they were younger, so now it is really special that we are able to return with our grandkids. The staff is great and the new wine tasting is a nice feature as well as the free pancake breakfast. We are all looking forward to a return next year!

Room Tip: If going with a group and staying in the Kamping Kabins it is nice to be in 114-118
