We booked our room-block for our wedding with this hotel and from the first moment inquired about booking with this hotel, Kimberly was SOOOO helpful with the whole process. A wedding is extremely stressful and she made everything so easy. She was prompt with returning emails and calls, I was so grateful to have her helping me coordinate everything. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean, staff was great. Everyone had nothing but good things to say about the hotel! Highly recommend staying here!!

Room tip: Second Floor has high ceilings and better lighting for wedding pictures

Rooms: Very clean and well maintained, great design and decent decor with very nice furniture.
Service: Good. Very timely.
Parking:On 3 sides. But no security cameras in the parking area.
Access: Easy access off LIE; 2 minutes from 135; from Melville and south Long Island
Restaurant: Very nice staff; menu limited. The older staff need to smile more. Service industry is not just another job! :)
Front Desk: Great! Very courteous and professional.
Value for Money: I got the room from Priceline, so got a great deal!
Location:From backside there is access to a restaurant; Rear and side parking should have cameras for security.

Suggestions:

- The management needs to do something about the noise from LIE. There are ways to reduce noise; double panes, etc. For $189 a night for a room; I am sure there are banks who can give a loan for this property improvement.

- Tea and Coffee do not taste good.

- Maybe there needs to be some training done in areas that are not part of a "job".

This property has great potential even in the face of stiff competition in the area. But is not yet a choice stay.

Room tip: Take rooms on the back side only. Front side has a lot of noise from LIE.

We have a wonderful staff that strive to assure each guests has everything they need to provide a memorable stay with us. They are the heart of this hotel and what keeps it running smoothly. We are happy to know that you were treated to exemplary service.

We are conveniently located off I-495, within close proximity to shopping and dining. We offer a large parking lot for our guests convenience. We are well-lit with security cameras surrounding the entire area for our guests' safety. This is a number one priority for us.

We are sorry that the location of your room was within close proximity to the expressway. We are proud to have put over a million dollars in renovations in the period of a few short years for our guests to enjoy. We have double-paned windows to try to cut back on the noise, but depending on the time of day, the noise can be a factor. The next stay with us, you may request a room on the opposite side of the hotel, which would be a quieter option, and we would be happy to accommodate if we can.

We booked this hotel a year in advance for our daughter’s wedding. 30 rooms and no snafus. We were very impressed. The staff was helpful, patient and courteous. The rooms were comfortable, though perhaps in need of a little facelift. It was convenient having a restaurant on premises, and although the food was very good, the space is quite tight. It didn’t present a problem as we all ate breakfast at different times; it’s just something to keep in mind.

Recently stayed at the Four Points Sheraton in Plainview and while the room was a good size, with microwave/fridge, a safe and the bed comfortable, there were some issues...there was no way to shut off just the fan in the bathroom so when you turned on the bathroom lights the fan stayed on, and no outlets to charge phone on the night stands...more significant, if you stay here request a room away from the nearby highway which is very noisy. Then there is the bar/restaurant area which is very small and the bartender inexperienced. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of west central Long Island adjacent to Rte 495 which runs nearly the length of Long Island.

Thank you for your review of the Four Points Melville. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not exceed your expectations.
We are glad to know that you found your room to be spacious and comfortable and enjoyed the amenities that it has to offer. We apologize for the inconvenience of the fan. We understand that can be an issue. We do have charger outlets in every room. A quick call to the front desk would have had someone guide you to the nearest outlet in your room.
We are very conveniently located on the service road of I-495 and noise can be an issue at times. We are happy to move any guest's room if we can as we want them to be happy. We are sorry if this hindered a perfect stay.
Our restaurant may be small but we have a wonderful menu selection. Our Chef works hard to please any palate. We hope that you will join us for a meal.
Our staff works hard to keep our guests happy and comfortable. We hope than you were met with excellent customer service with a smile.
We hope that you will join us again to provide you with a five star stay. Until then.

The stay was tranquil. The food was delicious. Whether you eat in their restaurant or order room service, the staff is engaging. The excercise room was adequate. I will go back on my next business trip in the area
