It was a crowded Friday lunchtime but the wait was worth it. Rosemarie made sure we enjoyed our visit from start to finish, being very attentive to our needs. The lunch special offered diners choices from two categories, such as half a pizza with whole wheat crust along with soup or a salad. We had a 3 year-old in tow, and asked that she get a slice of pizza right away. Not only did this happen quickly, but she also received a special closed cup with a straw that had games on the sides of the cup. We were very appreciative.
As a vegetarian, I was dismayed that all the soups had a meat or chicken base, but I understood that this was due to the authenticity of the place, which serves true Italian cooking. There were plenty of other choices, and I enjoyed my meal.
I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Italian food and wants a friendly and reasonably-priced setting.
