“Classic Diner Fare”
Reviewed July 21, 2014

Stopped by for breakfast when in town with friends. Love going to classic diners like these - this is a small place that shoehorns alot of people in and serves some solid diner breakfast. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast especially the breakfast burrito. The service was small town friendly.

“simply "retrolicious!"”

If you're hungry for "homestyle," you'll feel right at home and completely sated at this quaint nostalgic Penn Yan icon. From OMG omelets served with buttery biscuits to light and delightful pancakes, to the restaurant's 1/3lb burgers on DinerMade buns, you will return for more deliciousness if you're anywhere near this fun-filled place. Soups and pies are DinerMade as well, so leave room for PYD's yummy desserts. One of the best features of this original 1930's dining car is the service you'll get from the owners (who work tirelessly!) to the friendly, clever staff who are all waiting to serve you from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave! What a novel idea!! Plan to enjoy yourself and fill your tummy with yummy!

“Awesome diner ”
Reviewed June 1, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I have a great breakfast here today. She had the stuffed French toast (stuffed with cheese and sausage) and I had "the Sean" two pancakes (awesome!!) two eggs, sausage, and toast... And yes. We had to get a small order of the homemade biscuits and gravy. After I asked if it was from scratch ... It was fantastic!!! They are on a limited menu right now (because of the flood damage I believe) but it is a nice spot. We will be back!! (For a full order of biscuits and gravy!!!)

“A perfect end to a long weekend at the Finger Lakes”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

Not knowing the area, we found this diner with a search on our gps as we pulled out of our rental home. Five of us sat at the counter and had a great breakfast. We each had a different order and were more than happy with the food and the friendly service. Absolutely a stop we will make again on our next trip!

“First and last time.”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

Portions were small for the price we had to pay. Dinners tasted very very cheap, would have preferred school lunches over this dinner. Meatloaf and chicken parm were very salty and tasted freezer burnt. In addition the msshed potatoes were very over seasoned.
