Not knowing the area, we found this diner with a search on our gps as we pulled out of our rental home. Five of us sat at the counter and had a great breakfast. We each had a different order and were more than happy with the food and the friendly service. Absolutely a stop we will make again on our next trip!

Portions were small for the price we had to pay. Dinners tasted very very cheap, would have preferred school lunches over this dinner. Meatloaf and chicken parm were very salty and tasted freezer burnt. In addition the msshed potatoes were very over seasoned.

Had breakfast here 2 mornings while visiting family in Penn Yan. Both mornings I had the diner made corned beef hash with poached eggs. Cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The staff is wonderful too.

Trailer sized diner, in place since the 20's (they say) does nothing offensive, nor particularly well. Arriving at 11:20 AM, were advised breakfast menu ends at 11AM (and this is a diner?). Lunch sandwiches unremarkable. Best of the bunch was an excellent cheeseburger on a house made roll that looked like an oversize biscuit. Tasty.

It's a long way between breakfast joints north of Keuka Lake, where we spend some time each summer. This diner is OK, and better than most Penn Yan alternatives, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get here.
