This place is so adorable! Inn keeper Christopher made us feel welcome and we loved our stay. He is also a wonderful Brekky cook! The breakfast was so good. Beds are comfortable and most important of all, very clean rooms and bathrooms! The area was great and we had a great dinner at Frisky Oyster. Will definitely stay here on a trip back! Thank you Christopher!

My girlfriend and I recently visited The Harvest Inn and had such a wonderful experience. This was our first trip to the North Fork area and after an incredible stay at The Harvest Inn, it certainly won’t be our last. The inn itself is beautiful and well-maintained with cozy common sitting and dining spaces that made you feel right at home. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable as well. By far, the best quality about The Harvest Inn is the owners, Darolyn and Christopher. Christopher makes some incredibly delicious breakfasts (they certainly lived up to all the rave reviews by other guests) and his wine tasting on Saturday was a lot of fun. Darolyn was incredibly helpful both before and during our trip. She was able to set up dinner reservations in advance and made sure that the restaurants were able to accommodate certain dietary restrictions. She was also able to steer us to some fantastic shops and markets, and of course was spot on with the Wine recommendations. Both Darolyn and Christopher are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable hosts who truly do an amazing job at making sure all of their guests have memorable experience. Needless to say we can’t wait to come back!

While we are experienced travelers and wine enthusiasts, this was our first trip to Long Island's North Fork. Our stay at The Harvest Inn could not have been more enjoyable. It is a beautiful property and centrally located for wine tasting room visits and area restaurants. The inn is relatively new and beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed, and there was a very comfortable sitting room on the first floor as well as a large front porch with comfortable seating overlooking a vineyard across the road.

The owners, Darolyn and Christopher, are special people. They were very gracious and personable without hovering over their guests as B&B hosts sometimes do. As it was our first time there, they helped us with tasting room recommendations and restaurant reservations, and let us know what events were happening in the area that weekend. Breakfasts, prepared and served each morning by Christopher, were fantastic! Darolyn was always available to answer our questions and help us navigate the area. In short, everything we experienced there was first class and as we fell in love with North Fork wine country, we'll be returning soon!

Room Tip: We had a lovely, spacious and comfortable room in the front with a rocker, desk and chair, and large...

My wife and I had always wanted to visit the North Fork wine country. We have visited Napa on numerous occasions and I never would have believed that an east coast wine region could compete. We were most pleasantly surprised when I planned our recent anniversary trip .
I was fortunate enough to find The Harvest Inn . I figured with a name like that, they must be near the wineries and know something about wine. Correct on both accounts. Darolyn and Christopher really know how run a Bed and Breakfast , and turned out to be our built in concierge , personal chef and wine advisors.
Prior to our visit, Darolyn helped me arrange a special anniversary dinner, set-up for a private 3 hour sail with Captain Bob with gourmet lunch prepared by her wonderful chef/husband Chris, and a private driver for a 4 hour winery tour.
Everything was perfect! Our room was spacious and had individual thermostat control which is unique in a B&B. The front porch was a great place for coffee, wine, reading and planning. The breakfast each morning was a great culinary experience. And I learned that Chris is a food like me so we got to talk about other food while we ate his amazing breakfast. The wines were a great surprise--I never expected the BIG REDS ! The local restaurants were very good and all of Darolyn's advice paid off. I found the Harvest Inn location to be central to the best of the North Fork. We were there 3 nights. Next time 4 !!

This was my first stay in the North Fork planned for my husband and I by my daughter and son in law. The Inn is so special . It is contemporary with old world charm. Every amenity was available. The property is beautiful. Wineries are within walking distance. Darolyn and Chris make you feel very comfortable. The breakfast and wine tasting were amazing. Will definitely be back ! Excellent restaurants in the area!!!

My husband and I were referred to the Harvest Inn by numerous family members and friends. It was our first time out to the Long Island vineyards so we didn't really know what to expect. What an incredible weekend it turned out to be! Harvest Inn is absolutely charming and was the perfect compliment to a relaxing weekend. Chris and Darolyn were a pleasure to be around, had great recommendations, and whipped up a delicious breakfast for us each morning. We even made friends on the trip from just talking at the dining room table. My favorite part of the house had to be the porch. We would watch the sunset across the vineyard with a newly purchased bottle of wine and cheese from the local cheese shop. What's not to love?! Our room was very spacious and yet cozy; no detail was overlooked. We cannot wait to return and would highly recommend Harvest Inn to anyone looking for the perfect weekend (or week!) escape. One last note, if you have dogs, there is a trusted kennel 5 minutes away we used for our two French bulldogs - Dog Town.

Four of us visited the Harvest Inn for an annual girls weekend getaway, and we couldn't have picked a more special place. Darolyn and Chris made our stay so memorable-from setting up a special surprise to the scrumptious breakfasts...everything had their special touch . The rooms were spacious, clean and decorated perfectly. They have such a passion for the area and are eager to help their guests discover the beauty of the North Fork. They recommended great farmstands, beaches and knew all the "happenings" at the local wineries. Chris's talent for cooking is a rare gift. We looked forward to his breakfasts each morning and knew we would be devouring the most fresh ingredients from the local farm stands. The wine tasting that Chris does on Saturday evenings was so informative and fun at the same time! The location is right in the middle of wine country and we were even able to walk to many of the wineries in the area. Thank you Darolyn and Chris for helping us discover many of the gems of the North Fork. We look forward to staying with you again.
