We spent two nights in the cottage, and were very comfortable there. It was clean and well furnished. Not a fancy place, but we loved staying there. We had two bedrooms, One having two beds in it the other having one bed. The enclosed covered porch also had two single beds in it, but we did not use them, because there were only 3 of us. Everything we needed in the kitchen was furnished except for the food. It was in a very good location, near the Smith Farm and cabin. Close to the Temple and the LDS church. I highly recommend the White House, it is much nicer than staying in a motel, because you feel at home there. We saved money by not having to eat out at every meal. We made popcorn in the evening and watched TV. We never saw the owner, but she seemed very sweet over the phone. This cottage was a walk out basement apartment. It was quite and peaceful there. I would stay there again if I ever went back to Palmyra. I recommend booking ahead, I do not think she has any trouble filling these rooms.
