The restaurant itself looks like an old inn situated across the street from a lyrical babbling brook. It is surrounded by the majestic Catskill mountains. Once inside you see several small, cozy, intimate dining rooms that evoke an old world charm. The food is fabulous at this family owned restaurant. One dish you simply must try is the caeser salad prepared fresh at your table. It is the real deal, no bottled dressing here. Some of my other favorite dishes include the scungili fra diavlo, the stuffed mushrooms, their famous shrimp scampi, the herb crusted rack of lamb, and the linguine bucaneira. The food is amazing and the service is stellar. If you are lucky, you may even catch some talented local artists jamming in the bistro after dark. You must definitely try this restaurant if you love food!!!
