The hotel was clean and had amenities as advertised.
However, the rooms were not insulated completely against noise.
Guests wandering the halls at 3 AM making an incredible amount of noise disturbed what could have been a good night's sleep.
Our room faced the river and the other side's coastline had a night club that blasted music until 2 AM on Friday evening. I'm not against anyone having fun but at these prices a little quiet would have been greatly appreciated.

The room was exceptionally spacious with a whirlpool tub and had a picture window view of the Oswego River. The king bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. We used the pool, hot tub and steam room. Everything was fresh, clean and organized. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful when we needed extra towels and suggestions on a place to eat. It was easy to sleep in as the hotel was nice and quiet even on a weekend morning. The one con; a majority of the rooms come with one bed (queen or king) and a futon, not a second bed. My teenage daughter did not enjoy the futon. If you stay, try the Press Box across the street for lunch or dinner and take a stroll on Oswego's River Walk.

We spend a night in Oswego in our way to Montreal, Canada. I had told my family not to have high expectations of this hotel because according to the ratings it was just it would be fine for one. When we arrived to the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. The wing where our room was had been recently redecorated so our room was very nice and freshly decorated. The beds were as comfortable with down comforters and top pillow mattress just like many up four star hotels. Our hotel room had a balcony with a view of the river & also had this suede type of chair that was very inviting to sit there & relax to read a book and watch the river. My family was very pleased that it turned out to be a very pleasant hotel to spend the night after spending almost 8 hrs of driving. The front desk clerks were very nice to recommend a few nice restaurants within walking distance. They also had free continental breakfast which closed a @ 9 am. We got to the dinning area right when the lady was putting all the cereals away but she was nicely enough bring back out the cereal & milk for us. There's not much to do in the town unless you own a boat. We did walk to the farmer's market which there wasn't much to it but I guess for a small town it wasn't bad.

This is a clean well maintained property with lovely views over the harbour. the continental breakfast was first class as was the standard of the beds, I slept really well on it.

Any staff we had contact with were cheerful and helpful, were we staying in Oswego again we would have no hesitation in staying here.

The restuarant along the quay was also very good, we had a top class meal in nice surroundings.

We recently stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. On the website I had booked what was available at the AAA rate; a queen with a kitchenette. We were pleasantly surprised at check-in to be given a 2 room king suite! There was space for comments on the website when I booked the room and I had mentioned that I wanted a balcony. They are not available with the kitchenette, so they made the switch. I really hadn't planned on cooking, so that was fine. We did have a refrigerator and coffee pot. Clean, comfortable, and attractive furnishings and a very nice, calm view of the water from the balcony.
The staff was very accommodating. We asked to move 2 days into our stay as the city was doing some major, noisy construction on our end of the hotel. They graciously moved us to another suite in the middle of the hotel, which was very quiet, with much aplogizing!
Breakfast lady was so nice, friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff was always visible and working hard. The pool and hot tub area are beautiful, private, and well-maintained. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Oswego area. We traveled to 1000 Island area for a day trip, about 1 1/2 hrs away. It was nice to come back to a quieter place.

I stayed at the Best Western in Oswego for a friend's wedding in June. There are two hotel options downtown, and Best Western is definitely the nicer of the two. The rooms meet Best Western standards - it was clean, comfortable, no unnecessary frills, and there are adequate facilities. A few complaints......for those who have traveled to Oswego for leisure, the nightlife in town is the main attraction. Therefore, hotels should not stop serving breakfast at 10AM on a Saturday morning! Also, the complimentary coffee and juice are very watered down.

Overall, the location is great to walk to the bars and restaurants on the other side of the Bridge and you're only 10 minute drive from Lake Oswego.

This is a great setting on the OSWEGO RIVER, other side from the college. The rooms were very clean, baths looked new. There is no restaurant at this time- marginal continental breakfast served. There is an indoor pool and sauna free, BUT there is a $5 charge for the fitness center- I argued it was not advertised and got a pass.
In room coffee, balconies and honor bar- this is a corporate type hotel so it is nice.
