I love the rustic atmosphere..........its just perfect. However, now the food...................mostly I was disappointed in the sweet potatoes which were BURNT. They really should have thrown them out and made us a fresh batch. My friend and I ordered two sandwiches and shared them. The special was beef tips and this sandwich was very good. The other sandwich was brisket. The bbq sauce was a bit hot for my friend, but I liked it. However, it is next to impossible to eat a sandwich like a sandwich (picking it up in your hand and taking it to your mouth for a bite) when the chunks of meat are large. The chunks were too big and not all that tender. I really wanted to see what other peoples sweet potato fries looked like, but didn't think it appropriate to get up and walk around and look at other peoples meals! Service was a tad bit slow, even though there were only a few tables full. I will probably try it again, and hope for more satisfaction next time.
