“Autumn Cafe has everything but a full bar!”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Autumn Cafe offers creative menu items with unique twists on familiar items. If you're a vegetarian, there will always be a selection for you, including both specials and regular menu items. Autumn offers an impressive Beer & Wine list, but, because of Blue Laws, does not serve hard liquor. Enjoy Sunday brunch or daily lunch and dinner in a delightful atmosphere with attentive and friendly service.

“Warm & friendly place!”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

We stopped in for a late Friday night dinner after a long drive. The empty tables weren't cleaned but a table of our choice was cleared right away. American menu that is vegetarian and healthy friendly. Great beer selection including craft and seasonals. Be sure to check their specials board. Very reasonable prices. I could tell that there were a bunch of local regulars, which is a good sign, and this helped make it a happy and friendly place with a casual and comfortably roomy environment! I will be back!

“Interesting offerings and wildly impressed”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

We stopped at the Autumn Cafe late on a Friday night on the way to the Finger Lakes.Knowing we were anxious to get back on the road, the waitress was attentive and made sure we were served quickly. We decided to order from their specials, as several were tempting. I had the halibut which had blend of pesto and balsamic glaze and my husband had a salmon which had a southwest flair. We were blown away by the quality of the food, the freshness of the fish and the interesting play of flavors. This meal was undeniably fantastic and reasonably priced! We'll be back!

“Excellent spot on Main Street - in the heart of Oneonta”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a burger from locally-grown organic beef - delicious! This is clearly a favorite among the locals as the place was full and buzzing. Great vibe and atmosphere. Genuine and friendly staff. The menu and specials were full of excellent options and the people near me were clearly enjoying their meals as well. The wine and beer selection looked fantastic, too, although I didn't imbibe (given it was lunchtime). Great choice if you want to hit a solid local restaurant.

“Good respite on a Saturday”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We visited the Autumn Cafe on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in October. Farmer's Market down the street, nice mix of eclectic shops. We sat at a little table near the front window and watched the street scene during lunch. The pastrami on rye was great - not too salty, not greasy, wonderful bread. The BLT - requested not toasted - was also good again with wonderful bread. The waitress was hustling, so we were left alone for a bit but it looked like they may have been short a staff member for the traffic. Prices a bit on the high side for sandwiches but were quality.
I suggest to park in the municipal lot behind Main St since the street is very narrow and parallel parking is difficult on high flow days. The other shops are not just for college kids but would attract all generations. A fair number of faster food shops but also bakeries, cafes, quirky shops and a really nice bookstore.
