“Gigantic rock formations and scenic views”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Paths and stairways wind through 320 million year old quartz boulders. The site claims to have the world's largest exposure of quartz conglomerate. One stairway is believed to have been built by the Seneca Indians who used the area as a lookout and fortress. There is a very good 10 to 15 minute film in the museum on site giving the history of Rock City Park which apparently was the Disneyland of it day back in the early 1900s. There are benches and some bench swings in different areas around the paths if you need or just want to take a rest. It takes about an hour or so to walk all the paths.

“A fun hike with awesome views!”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

After a lovely drive we arrived and were welcomed by the owner. There is a running video available, documenting the area. The hike is a self-lead walk. There are awesome views! You start out walking above and then take a set of stairs down and walk around the trail. There are lots of small off-shoot paths to follow and see where they go.
The rocks are mammoth! The moss and ferns just cling to them and keep growing. The trees grow on/over/through the rocks.
Also, Luckily I needed to use the facilities, because they are not to be missed.

“Large Quartz conglomerates in natural setting”
Reviewed September 27, 2013 via mobile

The owner takes pride in a litter-free attraction, so hopefully others will also. Well marked trails. Benches & bench swings added to the enjoyment. Even if you don't need to, check out the restrooms in the main building.

“Spectacular”
Reviewed September 5, 2013 via mobile

I took my children here for the first time. We were enchanted from the very beginning. The rock formations are stunning. We loved wandering around these huge structures. They have picnic areas and the entry fees are very budget friendly. This is not for people with health issues or are unstable on their feet. There are steep inclines and areas to climb over or through. All the way home my kids kept repeating how they really loved it.
