My boyfriend made reservations at this place that was recommended by the motel owner for my birthday. It was very cute and clean. Only 6 things on the menu plus a special. ..which I think is great!!! When a place puts their top meals on a menu you know it will be great! We both had amazing meals!!!!! Along with our appetizers and salads...waitress could of done better with asking us about our drinks...but overall it was a wonderful experience. Best meal I have had out in all that I can remember! !!!

At the recommendation of our motel owner, we stopped by the Five Corners Cafe for dinner. We were certainly glad we did. It's located right in the center of Old Forge so if you choose to dine on the patio outside you get a great view of what's going on in town. The service was good and the food even better. Prices were quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. The salmon was delicious. We'll put that on our "must do" list the next time we're in Old Forge.

Inventive food choices and fresh ingredients are standard fare at Five Corners, located at the main intersection of Old Forge. We dined at outdoor tables on a balmy evening, enjoying delights like carrot cardamom soup while watching the action as tourists shopped and walked by. I enjoyed a simple but beautifully prepared roast chicken dish, nicely complemented with a summer vegetable and orzo medley; my husband enjoyed his steak so much he spoke of it the rest of the evening.

The service here was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. There were a few mosquitoes, but this is, after all, the Adirondacks.

I recommend Five Corners for those seeking something different. This is not a loud-and-fast food factory--there are plenty of those down the street. Plan on enjoying good food that's thoughtfully prepared, in an environment conducive to quiet conversation.

You will be wonderfully pleased every time you dine at this restaurant! From the courteous staff, the great wine menu, the delicious food to the relaxed atmosphere, the owners have left nothing untouched! Nightly specials allow you to sway from your norm if you so choose but most likely you will find a favorite you will want to return for!! Best to make reservations to ensure you can get in!!

What a gem of a menu! Diverse selection, perfectly cooked. We had three of our grandkids in tow, and while they do not shy from "different" foods, there was something to please us and them. The lamb was perfectly done and tasty..."out of this world," according to my husband. The Salmon was moist and the Thai noodle salad was excellent as well. And the desserts were to die for. Five of us shared the creme brûlée, rhubarb tart and chocolate torte, and not a crumb was left. Quick service, both with speed and wit. We will be back.
