We've been going to Little Italy for the last 4 years. A homely place in a small town just across the bridge to Canada. A small Border crossing so it is convenient and just one hour out of Canada's nation capital. The restaurant will even give you a voucher to save the $3 crossing fare.
Now, back to the food. There's always more than I can eat. Varied every time. And prices never go up ( that's part of their magic). We know Joe (the owner) on a first name basis and he's not shy to walk around and hear customer reviews first hand. The decor is "kitch" ( christmas or hockey colours year-round). Simplicity. A first class service with dedicated servers. The food is plentiful, savory, varied from one time to the next, with fresh salads. Key word: simplicity. Try it if you happen to be close by.
