“Best salad bar around period!!! Homemade desserts in house!!! Stop here if in o'burg”
Reviewed June 29, 2012

We stopped into busters not knowing what to expect as it was our first time in ogdensburg. We stopped at a local gas station and asked where we should go to eat-- 2 different people said "Busters". Upon entering the first thing that stands out is the huge salad bar. I guess it is like 20 foot long but it is packed with not only items to make a great salad but also homemade soup, rolls, fruit, and assorted salads like pasta and potato salads. We ordered a "yankeeburger" and some house specialties "zingers". The yankeeburger was huge and the zingers are boneless chicken wings. They were both very good and instead of fries we added the salad bar for $3 or so(which is pretty cheap for all u get). We had to try some dessert before leaving and were not disappointed- the coconut cream was great and the peanut butter pie was terrific as well. If u go to busters save room for dessert- they r homemade and delicious. Service was good and we were not drinking but they have 12 different drafts to choose from-- something u don't see in upstate NY. All this and our bill was less than $35-we took enough food home to eat lunch the next day!!

“Yum!”

Big variety and good desserts! It looks deceivingly small from the outside, but is quite roomy inside!

“Decent food at a fair price.”
Reviewed April 22, 2012

We live nearby in Canada and are frequent visitors to Busters. The plusses are the beer(draft) is always cold, served in a frosted glass and reasonably priced. The menu offers a good variety and their fish frys on Friday night and Prime Rib on Saturdays always have the place packed. We have found certain items are hit and miss depending who the chef is. If you order the jumbalaya, be prepared for it to be swimming in oil and grease. For the most part, once you know what to expect from the menu, you can avaoid the problem dishes.

“Great food, huge salad bar and awesome desserts”
Reviewed April 3, 2012

Buster's is a great place to relax and watch whatever sport you like on the many TV's. The food is excellent and in very large portions. You shouldn't go away hungry. Their soup and salad bar is wonderful. Anything that you would want to top your salad and soup specials that change daily. If you can make it to dessert, you won't be disappointed. Their homemade pies and cakes are awesome. The staff is very friendly and willing to accomodate. The owner, Terry, is usually around asking how you enjoyed the meal and service. Make this a stop if you're in the area.

“Some of the best food around”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

Service was very pleasant! Our large family ordered lots of different foods from the great selection and EVERYONE was pleased....that is hard to do! I simply had the salad bar..which upon return visits is what I will continue to get. The salad bar is clean, organized, fresh and substantial.....as it has twice the variety of larger chain restaurants (hence Ruby Tuesdays). Love this place...family friendly but also 'drinker' friendly as there is a wall of sorts separating the dining area from the bar. If you are in or around Ogdensburg you would be crazy not to stop in and have a bite or two.
