Living in the area for 48 years,I remember the Nathan's of the 70's , the Huge 1000 seat theater with weekend puppet shows and the huge game room. The original building was massive with an awesome terra-cotta roof ,used to be where TJ Max is now. The food, ahhh the hot dogs, the fries .. That's all we ate ,well, we were kids and it just seemed so so different than the stuff they serve today. The hot dogs taste isn't the same, the fries don't seem the same either, why would you go there for anything else?certainly the prices arent the same. We go occasionally for a dog or two but mainly to play Ms. PAC-man and pinball. We're still kids at heart and the memory of the old nathans runs through my mind every time we drive past the place.
