My stay at the Palms was super! It was a great place for my partner Antonio and I to kick back and ride two-seater bicycles. The rooms and service were both excellent! Oh, and a shout out to Big Bob for his great detective work finding my diamond toe ring!

Stayed at the Palms Bay for my sister's bachelorette party and loved it! We were a group of 8 and booked the SoHo Suite. The room was perfect for us. It slept 8 people comfortably. Loved that it had 2 full baths and a private outdoor shower. Also loved the fact that we had a private patio to relax outside. The kitchenette was perfect for a weekend.

The staff at the Palms was extraordinary. Andrew did a wonderful job always making sure we were taken care of. He was there from the moment we got there to help get all of our bags in the room to helping us back to the ferry. He ever helped with the coolers on the freight boat. He is wonderful and made the weekend great!

The Bay location was wonderful!!! We enjoyed relaxing on the beach all day. The hotel has lounge chairs, beds, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and a couch for their guests to enjoy. So many options and space to relax and enjoy your time on the beach

Overall it is a great hotel and great staff. Thank you Andrew for your service!!!!

We were greeted by a welcoming staff member, Andrew, on our arrival to the Palms (bayview). We were escorted to our room to be introduced to a sweet young woman, Julia, on her way out from cleaning. The rooms were clean and imaculate. Not a drop of sand to be found anywhere. The service the two nights, three days we stayed was fantastic.
Andrew, Julia, and Igor were always easily accessible to help out or lend a hand.
The backyard has lounge chairs and tables set up overlooking the Great South Bay.
The staff spent time with our two young children, getting them a crab net, fishing pole, even some bait.
We had an enjoyable few days, and will not hesitate to spend a few extra days at this beautiful hotel.

I have been going to Fire Island for over 20 years, that includes all the beaches up and down the coast there is no mistake that The Palms is the Best!

Each year additional rooms and suites are added that are even better. My friends and I stayed at the Chelsea Suite and were not used to that kind of clean room and bed anywhere on Fire Island. Imagine, waking up in a super king-size clean ultra plush 5000 thread sheets!!! (it seemed like that) with this clean feeling around you!

Most of the other stays on Fire Island your feet get black from the floors and beds are more tired than the person. Besides - it was also a pleasure to wake up with no spider bites!!! The Palms aims to please and makes a distinct unique effort. With plush lounges on the sand at Bay side at Palms 2 or brand new bicycles to roam around with and many other amenities, they would get my highest rating. Also . . . a little secret - it’s also good during the week or off season.

If you've ever been to Ocean Beach with your freinds, you know it is the only town on fire island with 10+ bars and restaurants and people drink and stay out very late. If you are over that scene but still want to enjoy the beauty of Fire Island, then The Palm is for you. Not only do they have a beautiful private beach on the bay side with miami-style day beds and lounge chairs but they have a staff that waits on your every need and strives to make sure you do not lift a finger. The other couple that i was staying with and myself told Andrew who is the manager that we were going to the beach, we went to change and when we walked out of our room, our cooler had ice in it, we had a red wagon with 4 beach chairs, 4 towels, and an umbrella. We bought some meat for a bbq at nite and Andrew was nice enough to cook the meat for us! I mean this guy is great! The housekeeping staff was wonderful as well, Julie left Hershey kisses on our pillows every nite. this hotel plus the staff was the perfect getaway for the weekend and is highly recommended.

Needing to get out of NYC on the spur of the moment to beat the heat, we came across the Palm online, called and just showed up. The staff were thoughtful and accommodating. Fire Island has it's own culture and that includes sharing, in this case sharing Bathrooms. I guess that's due to a lack of space on the Island, that said, be aware; the rooms are tiny, really a place to crash after a day at the beach, which was fine for us. Bikes, Beach stuff, all included in the day rate, makes it worth the stay as well. I recommend the Palm Hotel. Downside: The Air conditioning vent in our Room, 205 was right above the bed, there is no control in the rooms so the good news is that it works really great, the bad news is you'll have to pull those blankets up at night not to freeze. (Not the worst thing that can happen in a hotel in the middle of the summer)

My friends and I never wanted to leave the Palms. Andrew was AMAZING he was there to help us the whole weekend. Even with all the other guest he made all 10 of us feel speacial. No matter what time of day or night he was there to help with everything from towels, carrying our coolers to and from our room or bringing us drinks from the bar accross the path. The hotel itself is very cozy and comfortable. The outside grills were great we even barbaqued at 2am and Andrew was there to help!!! It was so relaxing in the back yard we opted to stay there instead of hitting the club scence.
