A few of us came over, specifically for Chicken Fried Saturday ( I'm a big ZBB fan, no one else i was with is tho). No cover this day, which was nice. Inside was empty and no bartenders at the inside bar, which only made it harder to get a drink at the outside bars. That bartender at the smaller bar is a jerk. He was last time we were there too. We snagged a "seat yourself" outdoor table & order some burgers & chicken sammiches. Waitress wasn't overly attentive, but was nice. Food was better than I thought it as going to be. My chicken sammich was quite big- had I known my friend & I would have split one. Not sure how the bill came out to be so much though. We already had drinks in hand, so it wouldn't be from that. $100 for the 5 of us, for just a burger/sammich seems excessive, when theyre all 12-15$ on the menu... hmmm... I didn't actually see the bill, the bf took care of it. I should have asked to look at it to clarify why it was so high.
They really shouldnt have those tables out there. People around you are literally standing on top of you. Who wants to eat with someones coolie in their face? Last time those tables weren't there. We didnt intend to eat there, and should have kept with our original plan to eat at the Mermaid. The food was good though, it was just the atmosphere/surroundings & service that took away from it. We left shortly after. It was just a "blah" day at Flynns
