“Did a great job restoring the park”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

A very basic park, no real amenities except bathrooms, but a great setting and the path along the river has been mostly restored from Sandy (and it is in even better condition).

“Lovely River View...”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

... and nice walk. Great views of the Hudson in a peaceful and serene park. This is a favorite for many of the locals but it's never too crowded- you will see many out walking their dogs, reading by the water, bringing lunch... it is lovely.

“Love this place!!!”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

Also known as Hook Mt. This place is great with amazing views. If you climb to the top from 9W you can see the city. From the beach you can bike ride to Rockland Lake and Haverstaw. Trees fell on the path after Hurricane Sandy just like trees fell everywhere around here. It's a shame that some people gave poor reviews during the clean up process. So many good times here!

“Stunning scenery”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

A MUST to visit. A wonderful, flat walk next to the river, at the foot of the spectacular Palisades mountains. Walk along the 'easy bit'---2 miles out, 2 miles back. See the Hudson at it's 3-mile width--spanned by the Tappan Zee Bridge. See Sing-Sing prison on the other side. Geat place for a hike or easy cycle with kids. Great boulders to scramble up. Watch out for the poison ivy. And, check for ticks when you get home.
