I'm reading the other reviews of the Shipwreck and can't believe they are so high. Chili out of a can, desultory service at best and we were asked to leave before we were finished so some regulars could sit down. WHAT!?

Been coming to the Shipwreck for about 13 years. Love to sit outside with the family and have a later breakfast. Terrific homemade Jam to start off gratis. Great Omelettes, French Toast etc and equally as delicious lunches. Nice to see Tim (the proprietor) making rounds when he has the time (and not working the grill) to say hello with a smile. Great place in Northport Village.

Fast and friendly home town diner. Very popular and there is often a wait, but the food is good, prices are right and you will enjoy your meal

Went here two days within one week with our 3 and 1 yr old girls. Nice non-smoking seating outside in back of the restaurant. Cute decor/ambiance inside. Delicious omelets (some unique varieties too), good pancakes. Don't leave without the french fries (I think maybe they're double-fried?). Home fries were ok, a bit bland. Much higher prices than elsewhere in the country ($11 for a 3-egg omelet) but perhaps typical for the area. Tasty enough for us to come back again, though! Worth a visit.

Great little sandwich shop with owner cook and waitress. You'll love the true home cooking for breakfast or lunch. Awesome soups!
