very hard to get a reservation so i have tended to take out some of the items they offer. great meatballs (he beat food networks bobby flay in a contest) if you want a unique old school dining experience you should try it once. you might be shocked by the bill, but you won't be disappointed by the food.

If you go you need to get the meatballs. No words can describe them. You can take them to go in their hotpots.

Their meatballs are to die for. There is nothing better than their meatball hotpots, except for maybe their meatball hotpots with spaghetti. I can't get enough.

Tiny crowded loud and expensive describe this arrogant little restaurant.

The food Maroni's provides is well made but the order in which this is served makes not a lot of sense on my most recent two trips . The atmosphere is friendly but the next time l want to sit in a tiny cubicle or such tight quarters and bounce around eating such a variety of diverse dishes and ultimately have never left feeling anything but nausea , and then charge over $100.00 per person looking at some smiling faces and eating too many differing styles and sauces and dishes that are not a logical progression , at least in my mind...l'll go to Gotham , Jean Georges , Degustation , Aureole , Gramercy Tavern , Per Se , or even for that matter Kitchen a Bistro or Mosaic [albeit no atmosphere here either] and the list could go on and on and enjoy a more orderly lineup on the tasting menu . Not for me,quite simply put.
