The hotel host Effini is very helpful. The room is spacious and very clean, the location is quite convenient as it's only 3min walk to the town center and central bus station to all beaches. The studio is of two floor and the bed is in the upper floor. Kitchen is well equipped.

My wife and I plus adult daughter booked one of the appartments, which gave us two separate rooms and lots of space. Very pleasant & well decorated. Balcony across both rooms with great views of the caldera across to Nea Kamani (on either side of the derelict quarry offices, which I have suggested should be turned into a splendid hotel when winning the Euro Lottery; many of the town hotels have little or no such sea views!). Irene is very helpful and welcoming. The Carrefour supermarket is only 100m away, the bus station little further, and the main town a 5-10min saunter. The town itself is very lively but not raucous. We ate twice at Stani and once at Camille-very reasonably priced. The choice of restaurants and bars is very large - you could spend a lot of cash there! Bus transfer to the port is €2.20, wonderfully chaotic but everyone got on and ended up where intended. The whole of Santorini is fixated on the sunset over the rim of the caldera - a whole industry. The museum is very much worth a visit. Several really lovely up market art/craft shops - unfortunately the bank balance didn't stretch that far. Overall a great visit and an excellent hotel.

Room Tip: If you can afford the appartment, you get lots of room!

I HAD THE BEST WEEK OF MY TWO MONTH TRIP HERE....

I stayed in a double room with my friend who is a solid guy and i'm no petite girl. We had plenty of room between us. We had 2 large 20 kg backpacks and 10 kg carry ons, we had plenty of room to be able to store these. We even had a balcony that looked out to the other side of the island, good luck trying to find that elsewhere within this price range!

The hotel provides you with a few extras like water, juice, croissant, crackers and spreads in the fridge, most hotels would charge you extra for these. We also came home to a made bed every day, freshly stocked fridge and added extras... i felt bad... because some days we would leave at 10... other days at 2 pm... but no matter what time we came back our room looked amazing..
The hotel looked out onto the most spectacular view you will ever come across, its directly across from Caldera crater, with nothing blocking your view (like sky rises you would see in most cities) .Santorini is without a doubt the most beautiful place in the world.

You hear ATVs during the you day, but you should be out on one of them not sitting around the hotel. GO EXPLORE. (15-20 euro a day) The tours the hotel recommended were beyond amazing and worth every penny (there are prices for all budgets starting from 15 euro.... see backpackers affordable) and trust me as student backpackers.. everything here is within ANYONES budget. Just do it.. dont even think twice!

NOW the staff.... we have had some ups and downs with hotels and hostels over our two months... but here at hotel nemisis... they are a family that go all efforts to make sure your stay here is FANTASTIC. They offer great advice on the best places to eat, the best beaches which arent crowded and they recommended one of the best experiences of my life and for that I cannot thank them enough. Not to mention when our ATV got jammed and bogged... Eirini helped us get the lock off with her bare hands without us even asking her too, Eirini just got right in there and pulled it out of the chain ( no easy feat).. without her we'd probably would of been hit up 100 euro..

Why are you still reading reviews? Book this hotel and you will have the trip of a lifetime.

Thankyou again Hotel Nemesis.
Erin

I miss my time here in Santorini and will be back to visit!
Thanks Eirini...

Room Tip: Just make sure you select the right size room and you will have no problems at all :)

We stayed at Hotel Nemesis for 4 nights. The hotel is located 5-7 minutes walk outside of the city center, 3 minutes from the bus station and 1 minute from a large grocery store. You won't get any better for the price!
You would probably like to know that it is possible to get from/to the new port to the hotel with public busses. They come with every boat (we were told) and cost around 2 or 2,5 Euros per person, which is much cheaper than what the hotel offers. We used them to travel around the island and to go to the port on our way back.

The room was large, with a double bed, a large enough bathroom, AC, free wifi, a small fridge, dresser and a balcony (we did not have volcano view, but we could see the sea on the outside of the island). We ate breakfast on the balcony every morning!
We had a great sleep, no street noise or other noise from the AC or fridge.

The included breakfast is limited (instant coffee, small juices and bagged croissants). I understand it is the easiest way for people staying 1 or 2 nights, but it could be improved at least for people staying longer (maybe sandwich or loaf bread for a few days, some yogurt in the fridge, a few fruits?) However, the grocery store is 1 minute away so we bought a few extra things and it was perfect.

The hostess was very nice and recommended us great activities and restaurants. Make sure to try the Parea restaurant, it was amazing and not too expensive!

Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Santorini is one of the most unique and beautiful places in the world; It is only made better by the comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality at the Hotel Nemesis. Eirini and her familiy provide for you spacious rooms with private showers within their beautiful home that overlooks the caldera and volcano and is within a few steps of the famous capital of Santorini, Fira. The experience is so much more personal than the frenzy of large chain hotels. It is truly a home away from home. I look forward to returning.

I've been travelling the world on and off ever since I turned 18 - staying at hostels and hotels and whatever else you can think of...and I have got to say that this hotel is one of the best (if not THE best) I have ever stayed in.

Pros:
- STAFF: so so so amazing. Friendly, helpful, good for a laugh, and on top of that Eirini (the nicest lady ever in charge) makes amazing suggestions for restaurants to eat, places to shop and activities to do. She suggested that we went on a sunset catamaran tour around Santorini and it turned out to be one of the best days I have ever had in my life!
- LOCATION: perfect! Seriously about 1 minute walk from the supermarket, and 3-5 minutes walk from the town of Fira!! Even better is that as close as it is to everything, you sleep so soundly because it's situated just outside of the hustle and bustle of the swamps of tourists. And the views from the hotel are incredible - you pretty much walk out the door and the Caldera (oldest recorded volcano eruption) is right in front of you. Sunsets chilling out the front of the hotel, or even watching from your balcony are a MUST!
- FACILITIES: great great great great! Comfy beds, fantastic air conditioner, great channels on the TV, awesome showers/toilets. What else can I say!?
- VALUE: for all the information we received, and how we were treated, and the location? Bargain!

Cons:
- we only stayed 4 nights :(

All in all it was the best stay ever on one of the most beautiful islands ever! I highly recommend this place to anybody - couples, backpackers, families, solo travellers. You'll have such a great time!
