“Outstanding Service - Highly Recommend”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

My family and I stayed several nights at the Aria Suites during August 2013 - we had three of the six available suites. The whole experience was heavenly - the location is ideally situated close to the town centre, the views from the suites are breathtaking and the rooms themselves, placed around the pool and with seating terraces, are clean and spacious. However, what marks the Aria Suites out as unique is the amazing staff - Dimitra, Betty, Christophe, & Darios are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and their care and attention to detail was impressive. Our party ranged in age from 10 yrs old to 84 yrs old - and they were excellent in supporting and dealing with us all. Of huge advantage also is that the location does not involve many steps - there are only four or five from the road up to the suites - for those who know Santorini, many of the hotels are beautiful but involve a huge amount of steps which would not have been possible for the oldest in our party to manage. Overall, a remarkable experience and we would highly recommend Aria Suites to other travelers. Enjoy!

We stayed four nights at Aria Suites in June 2013. What an amazing place! Believe everything you read here in TripAdvisor about what a lovely hotel this is. We stayed in the Aida suite which is at the top of the hotel and has a wonderful view and a charming balcony where breakfast is served. The suite itself was perfect -- furnished in a lovely casual way, clean and fresh. The website pictures are very accurate in terms of the look of the rooms. Beautiful blue and white! I don't know how they keep those white walls from getting scuffed-up but there wasn't a single mark. Immaculate. The breakfast was served on the balcony at a time of our choosing (and right on time). There was a large list of possible menu choices from which to choose -- you could have some or all. Be sure to have the Greek omelette (perhaps the best I've ever had anywhere) and the yogurt with fruit (amazing!). The other outstanding thing about Aria Suites is the staff. Every person we encountered was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Dimitria and Betty at the front desk answered so many questions for us and offered assistance in so many ways and always with a smile. Having a person like Kristos working there is like having three people. Wow, that guy is a hard worker and again, always helpful and always with a smile. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Santorini is a magical place and Aria Suites is pretty darn magical too. If you can afford to stay there, don't hesitate.

Room Tip: Aida is at the top so no one is above. The view is amazing.

The service is impeccable, the staff is lovely, spotless rooms, breathtaking view, perfect location!! It doesn't get better than this, what a fantastic hotel. As we arrived, Dimitria was the perfect hostess, she explained all the hotel amenities, and asked if I needed a laptop during my stay. This hotel is so amazing, it even offers the guests laptops. Thank you so much for the entire staff who made our stay memorable!! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: We booked the Carmen suite that has 2 bedrooms, and is simply perfect!

Approximately 10 months ago my friends and I (a couple and one single) had booked the Norma room for 2 nights, Thursday August 29th, and Friday August 30th. At the end of June, we were notified that the hotel was "overbooked," and that we were getting "upgraded." When we looked into this further, we discovered that we were going from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom, with less square footage, and this was called an "upgrade?" Our transaction last year was paid in full and this was a FINAL sale.

First of all, how is a place with 6 suites overbooked? 10 months after we had paid, and our reservation was confirmed, the hotel overbooked and it is only managing 6 suites??

There was no "overbooking," but the hotel tried to call this an "upgrade," when in fact the new upgrade accommodations were not what we had paid for in our final sale. Our upgrade was a smaller room with one less bedroom. Furniture that may be a little nicer hardly constitutes an upgrade. This clearly was a deception on the hotel’s part.

Next, the thought of changing our reservations at the last minute and making us find other arrangements is an unethical business practice. We spent over 5 hours on the phone trying to fix this matter to find comparable accommodations.

The three of us are still quite upset and bothered by the hotel’s policy.

We spent a delightful week at Aria suites, returning to the UK yesterday. I can honestly say that this is the best holiday venue that i have visited.
The staff are meticulous in their attention to detail and make you feel like Royalty, suites are well appointed and breakfasts are served at a time to suit yourself, simply list what you require and it arrives the following morning on the dot!
When you stay at Aria suites you are made to feel so special that it is difficult to leave, after having the benefit of visiting Aria suites regularly last Summer whilst our friends stayed there we were made to feel like family, being offered use of the pool and the sunloungers.
I personally could not fault the professionalism of the staff and their willingness to involve themselves, nothing is to much trouble for them, our daughter accidentally left a mobile phone on the bus as we ventured to Oia, one swift phone call to Aria and Dimitria dealt with the problem- called the bus station and phone was collected!! A1 for effort.
I have read the negative reviews and simply cannot fathom how people can fault the location and appointment of the complex.
We will return to Aria again and look forward to doing so.

Rich and Jacqueline S.

I have been at the Aria Suites in Fira Santorini with my family (4 of us) for 7 days now and cannot believe the amazing property, views and service. The staff are definitely the BEST I have ever encountered in any hotel EVER! We arrived last week and when the airport shuttle dropped us off, Krzysztof greeted us and carried our luggage up a short path to the hotel. The view from the front desk was unbelievable (and even though it seemed impossible, was outdone by the views of the Caldera from the pool deck and spacious room). Dimitra greeted us with a welcome glass of ice water, a huge warm smile and her optimistic friendly demeanor and at once put us at ease and made us feel comfortable. Throughout our stay we have felt pampered by Claudio, Betty, Dimitra and Krzysztof and the beauty of Santorini has only been magnified by their dedication to making each and every guest feel special. I have never seen everything come together so perfectly ever...I have stayed in many beautiful properties on my family travels and have had lots of memorable service (most good)...BUT...in my memory there will now always be one place that will be thought of as the perfect week with the perfect location (walking distance to all Fira has to offer), the perfect view, the perfect room (very large and what I imagined it would look like), and PERFECT service (while I have been writing this review, Krzystof dropped off a fresh glass of ice water). Good Hotels are never simple to find...Great hotels are rare. The Aria Suites is a Great Hotel, made perfect by the people who staff it. Dimitra, Claudio, Krzysztof and Betty (and awesome housekeeping from Anna and Iliana)...Thank you. Our week in Santorini was FANTASTIC thanks to you. If you are coming to Santorini & reading this review trying to decide on accommodation in Santorini, Just read a few more reviews and hopefully you'll make the decision to book here. I expect a lot when I research and book vacations and hotels, and in Santorini, the Aria Suites far Exceeded my expectations.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and have their own character and charm.

We spent 6 days at Aria suites in Aug 2013 and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of hotel. Everything was simply fantastic. The suite was spacious, with a separate living area and small kitchenettes, super comfy bed and pillows as well as a private terrace. Breakfast (which was served by the pool or on our private terrace) was divine!! Fresh fruits, yogurt, breads, bacon, omelettes, amongst other things (even champagne!) The view from the hotel pool is simply indescribable! It made it hard for us to leave the poolside!! Delicious drinks/cocktails and light lunch/snacks were also available to order - all without having to leave the comfortable sun loungers. The location is also perfect only a few meters from the town centre and the bus stop with good connections to the rest if the island. Yet despite all these amazing amenities it is the staff that made our stay extra special. Everyone was always extremely helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible time in Santorini. I would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone who wants an unforgettable trip to the Greek islands.
