What a fantastic complex of 6 only suites nestled on top of the cliffs over looking the Caldera. The complex is not in the heart of Fira, it is about 200 metres from the start of the shopping strip, nice and quiet but close enough to be in the action after a 3 minute walk. We stayed in the Rigoletto suite upstairs - beautifully appointed, fantastic views, two balconies and great amenities - a really well designed suite. The breakfast on the balcony of your own room is a fantastic touch and must mention the friendliness of all of the staff. Dimitra is a wonderful host, happy, informative and eager to please. Would highly recommend Aria Suites to a couple looking for a peaceful and relaxing environment but also need to be close to the action

Room Tip: The Rigoletto Suite is upstairs and has the best views

Room Tip: We loved La Boheme as we got the morning sun so our breakfast on the balcony was delightful.

The welcome sets the tone for the whole stay. Demetria warmly and genuinely welcomes you to Aria, she watches over and ensure your stay is perfect. Each of the team are also exceptional, christos, claudio and the team of ladies who care for the suites a big thank, you are all the best. We stayed in tosca which is just perfect, no direct view to the sea from the villa, but lovely view from the breakfast patio. The pool area is ideal to relax at. A great place to stay at this tome of year as it's quiet and weather is perfect. it only has 6 suites and is a small intimate hotel, we were lucky only adults were there, I think if the suites had families with children I don't think the tranquilty would be the same as it's is very small.

We cannot fault this hotel. Dimitra welcomed us with her ever present smile and she did not disappoint. We were upgraded upon arrival from the Tosca to the Rigoletto and we thought we were in heaven. The whole villa was beautifully appointed and had the best views of the caldera. We were lucky to be able to see sunset from our balcony being September and the line of the sun in full view. Claudio and Chris were excellent staff and nothing was a problem. There was always a glass of cold water by your side whenever you were by the pool and lovely chill out music to set the mood of the day.
Breakfast was excellent and they always wanted you to order more than you could eat! I recommend the Greek omlette! The staff were fantastic in recommending things to do and organised the hire car for us and parking wasn't far away either. The location of the hotel was excellent being very close to the main street without all the tourists and no steps! Very easy to access from all parts of the island and central. They even provided bags and towels for the beach. We felt very welcome like nowhere else in Greece.
One of the best features was their courtesy room. Our boat did not leave until 10pm at night so with the use of the room we could sightsee and swim all day and use the room to rest and shower and get ready for dinner before leaving that night. It was so convenient we got to make the most of the last day.
We did not want to leave and we cannot wait to get back there again. Thanks to everyone at Aria Suites.

Room Tip: All the rooms look good but the Rigoletto would have the best view for couples.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Dimetria & her staff with a bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. The service just got better from there. Every member of the staff exceeded our expectations and seemed to anticipate our every need. Dimetria and her staff are the gold standard for customer service in the hotel industry. I have never stayed at a property where I have consistently received such a high level of service. I would recommend Aria Suites to anyone who is looking for a lovely property with spectacular views and top notch customer service that is just a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shopping in Fira. We stayed in the Norma Suite, which was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served every day exactly at the time we requested. Wonderful hotel, professional staff, top notch service.

Room Tip: Norma Suite was perfect for two couples and a baby.

This hotel was, hands down, the best stay of our 3 month tour through Western Europe; the very best among an excellent array of hotels and B&Bs in Paris, Firenze, Milano, Taormina and beyond...There's little I can say that hasn't already been said, but here's a quick recap for those afraid to unleash any bridled expectations: peerless, impeccable, holistic service - expect the very best; intimate surrounds (6 or so suites altogether, versus the hundreds you might find at mass resorts); a quiet location just a minute's walk from Fira's main drag where great seafood and souvlakia await; generous breakfasts brought to your spotless, airy room, more spacious than anything you'll find elsewhere in Europe at this price (the La Boheme suite provides plenty of room for two or more); and a quiet poolside bar to soak up the haunting beautiy and impermanence of this perfection, teetering as it is on the edge of oblivion. Im sure the competition is fierce in Santorini, but this would have to be up there amongst the very best.

One thing to note: the Aria Suites are in Fira, so if you plan on spending most of your time in Oia (reputedly the best sunsets on this island), then stay in Oia. Unfortunately, the transport in Santorini is horrid. Taxis are very limited, and the buses around the island infrequent at best, and dangerously over-crowded or non-existent at worst - we were almost trapped in Oia after a sunset and dinner - not enough buses, no taxis, huge crowds - we only escaped to Fira with the benefit of my wife's mother-tongue. That said, there's plenty of places to catch the sunset in low-key Fira (try Franco's Bar for starters) and we didn't regret staying at Aria Suites for one second.

Room Tip: You couldn't go wrong with any of these rooms, but pick carefully if you want a view of the sea...

The Good - EXCELLENT STAFF - BEST EVER! Dimitra and Claudio were truly accommodating, excellent hosts, and provided exceptional hospitality. On a number of occasions, they spent as much time as we wanted to advise on things to do, dinner options, beaches, etc. I loved that they loved to take care of their guests as well showed how much they love their island. The breakfast was excellent everyday, served on our balcony at the requested time. We were upgraded for free even before we arrived to the Norma suite, which we believed was the best suite at the hotel. They were so accommodating that they offered to return our rented 4-wheeler the following day for us since the shop would be closed so that we could enjoy our last sunset viewing on Oia. Dimitra has everything down to a science. The day before, she had everything squared away for us (i.e. verified our flight, flight time, transportation to the airport, and ran down an incredible timeline to the T, about what all would happen the following day regarding suitcase collection, taxi, etc). Everything worked like clockwork which is great when you have a 6:45 am flight! We always felt like we were in great hands. Regarding the room, the beds were very comfortable with quiet surroundings. This is a world class hotel with so much great attention to detail!

The 'not-as-good' - Really the only complaint was the dropped/slow internet connection, but really who should be working or surfing online when you are on this beautiful island! Yes, there are powerlines that obstruct some of the view, but if you walk a few steps in front of the hotel, you have a great view!

Room Tip: Definitely request or reserve the Norma suite; we thought out of all the rooms, it had the best view...
