This hotel was recommended to me by a collegue, it exceeded all our expectations and I have recommended it to others! On arrival.. we checked in, were shown to our room and our cases were brought all within a few minutes! We didn't opt for a 'caldera view' after reading negative reviews about the busy road. It is the main road into Thira but it's hardly busy!! We had a great room, it was one of the maisonette style, which is on two floors, lounge, bathroom & balcony downstairs & bedroom upstairs. From what we could see there are only 8 of this type of room at the hotel, if we ever return I would definatley request one of the maisonette's & would even be willing to pay extra! We watched the sunrise from the balcony & had a caldera view from the bedroom window upstairs. The hotel is very modern & stylish, definatley the best i've ever stayed at in Greece! The pool area was lovely & kept very tidy by the staff. Lovely seating area for lunch & very reasonable prices for food & drinks. We didn't eat in the restaraunt for dinner but heard some very good comments. Breakfast was good, very pleasant setting & the usual selection.. toast, coffee, fruit, yoghurt & a few hot items - eggs etc... Walking into Thira takes about 10 minutes & there are so many places to eat & drink you're spolit for choice, they all have amazing views but some places are more expensive than others - just look at the menu/prices before you go in. We hired a car for one day at reception - think it was about 35 euro's. The bus is also very efficient & cheap. Santorini really is beautiful, there are so many places to see which are truly stunning. Watching the sunset from the Santos Winery is amazing!! Order a tasting platter which is 4 half glasses of wine with bread, cheese & olives for about 12 euro's. We loved our trip to Santorini and hope to return many many times!

Room Tip: Request a maisonette style room.

I agree with the last reviewer. Hotel does have majestic views thanks to the pool & has wonderful pool side service for food or drinks. However experience was really ruined at night due to the poor air conditioning. It was honestly cooler with the breeze to sleep outside! The room remained at 27 degrees Celsius (80.6 degrees Fahrenheit) throughout the whole night even with the AC on & blasting!!!! Would not return due to this.

This was our last stop in Greece after Athens and Mykonos. This hotel is very close to the Fira Downtown and with a sea view. We found the hotel management very professional and very reliable. The hotel rooms were quite spacious and clean. The room services were very fast and friendly. The hotel also offered complimentary pick up and drop off from the port and to the airport and that too quite early in the morning. The room rates were also quite reasonable. Overall we recommend this hotel espcieally if you are with family since you do not want to have any unpleasant surprise.

I loved the majestic! Everyone was friendly, room was kept clean, and the view of the pool was amazing. There was just one down-side.... The A/C did not work in our room. Make sure before you unpack that the air works. It was so muggy we didn't sleep at all... And for the price, this was unacceptable.

This was truly the highlight of our honeymoon after first staying in Athens .

Room was a lot larger than we expected and clean. Bathroom had Jacuzzi/jets tub. The staff/service was excellent (they were friendly, helpful, expedient, booked tour for us and mailed our postcards for us). When we requested a taxi via the hotel, the rates were exactly what we expected to pay. Breakfast was good. There was a lovely pool, and shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the upper floor
