“great start to holiday”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

this is a lovely hotel it is very clean, sheets and towels fresh each day and maid service,if a bit early. the family who run this could not be more helpful anything you wanted was meat with a smile, rooms are basic Greek rooms with the Greek shower, so everything gets wet lo,we had a big veranda where we got morning sun.the breakfast were cereal, bread/cake and jam or cheese and ham and lovely Greek yogurt .tea or coffee and orange juice. you could eat as much as you needed to.
This hotel is just down from town so there is a long walk up the hill, but its good for the legs.
the pool was cold but lots of sunbeds and pool bar,
While we stayed there, there was two sets of students/school groups, and they did take over the place a bit with lessons and doing gym (at 6am) but it all made for a interesting stay

I stayed here for four nights in June 2013. I had a room overlooking the pool on an upper floor. Friendly owners, and very clean accommodation. Basic furnishing, but good enough, and does have free wifi and airconditioning. May get views of the sunrise depending on what room you are in.
Breakfast was very basic, cake, yoghurt, bread meat and cheese.
Only grumbles are more towards the cleaners who think 7 am was a great time to start. Space around the pool could be at a premium if there are a lot of student travellers staying, at other times it was deserted. Didn't experience any noise at night, unlike some of the other posts.

you are only 150m down the hill from Thira itself

We stayed here for three nights at the end of September as part of an island hopping package. Hotel very well positioned on the edge of the main town so it’s fairly quiet yet accessible to all the main shops, cafes and bus station. Regarding shops be careful of the little food shop just above the hotel (nothing to do with the hotel) but there are ants, bugs and myriad flies in the food both packaged and unpackaged! Friendly staff, very helpful. We had a twin room which we requested. Not particularly large but suited us. Beds fine, not too hard. Nice little balcony overlooking the pool. Bathroom, shower not terribly efficient and water from cold tap came out warm enough to shower in but served its purpose. Room & hotel very clean, towels changed daily. Fridge in room, air conditioning and heating. Nice pool. Breakfast buffet style, three varieties of cereal, cheese, bread, jams, yoghurt, cheese, hard boiled eggs and ham. On the day we departed they made sure we could have breakfast a little earlier than the norm. All perfectly adequate. We didn’t find it noisy but then the hotel was nowhere near full. Can't fault it at the price for location and service.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Fira, clean rooms with stunning balcony on the swimming pool. Free wifi connection available from the balcony and common places. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Good price/quality ratio. I recommend this hotel.

This is the noisiest hotel I have stayed in. It seems to have been designed so that the corridors amplify the noise of people moving around the hotel or even just talking in their rooms and this was 24 hours a day. The rooms are small and the shower was basic. However, the pool area is good with loungers and a good sized pool plus a bar. The hotel is in a good location for the centre of Fira. The service was poor - the woman on the desk was no help when we asked to move to a quieter room. She was also vague when we asked about late check out and had forgotten about it by the next day. The breakfast was basic, even more so than at other Greek hotels we had stayed in.

This hotel was in an alright location, but the rooms were terrible. The state of the rooms ruined my stay a bit.
There was nowhere to get food at the hotel, but the pool area was very nice. A 10 minute walk up the road took you to the busy center of town where you can enjoy a donkey ride or watch the most amazing sunset!

this hotel is so beautiful!!! It could use a bit of a room upgrade though, the beds and bathrooms in the four persons room were WAY to small!!! that is my only complaint. this hotel is wonderful besides that, its close to all the nightlife and the staff is very accommodating! I would definitely stay here again!
