The villa is family owned. The husband drives the van and will meet you and bring you to port with a minimal fee. We got a family room which is big with spacious bathroom & toilet. Wifi is free. The couple are warm. Staying this villa is getting more than what you paid for.

It is in a good location, close to the buses and all buses leave to go everywhere from Fira. The hotel was fine and the bed comfortable. Breakfast.. well, it could have been better, it wasn't exactly appetizing and really not worth having when there are so many other nice things to eat outside; for example, the hotel coffee was like flavoured water! The Villa Soula is only minutes walk from the Square and the Caldera Edge. What I did have a problem with, or rather who, was the receptionist at the hotel; on my last day when I was thinking of going to a beach I hadn't seen and having a few hours before my transfer to the airport, I asked her if I had enough time. Her reply was, ''Its up to you''. Being as I was a stranger to Greece/Santorini, I didn't see the necessity for her to have answered me like that and thought frankly, that it was rather rude of her.
The staff forgot on 2 days running to leave me any towels in my room and there was no apology when I mentioned it.

Room Tip: I had a room upstairs facing the sea, albeit I only had a glimpse, and it was quiet. I was told by...

Nice hotel, super smily welcome, little swimming pool... And super well located!
But do not expect them to come to pick you up at the port as for the 3+ stars hotels. Take the bus or rent a car. Restaurants and FIra bars are at 2minutes walking distance but if you really want to discover the island, rent a car (25eur per day if you negotiate!). Visit Pyrgos and if you can go to Oia for a nice sunset. As any where else in Creta and Cyclades, disgusting breakfast!

An inexpensive hotel about three blocks from the bus station in Fira.  The first pleasant surprise is that it is on a quiet side street. The second is that the room was newly redecorated and quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.  Small, covered swimming pool with no room to sit out and sunbathe.  Adequate but definitely not gourmet breakfast served with a thin brown liquid that they kept calling coffee.  Not luxury but not  bad if you are looking for a cheap hotel in Santorini.

I stayed with my girlfriend for 3 nights in this hotel. I can say that the strength of the hotel is the location and its cleanliness. From bus stop that connects the whole island, it is 5-minute walking distance, and to Fira Flea market and center, 3-minute walking distance. For us, it is a big plus because we don't have a driving license, thus we use bus to go everywhere. Breakfast is sufficient. The bed is big and comfy. Overall, we are very satisfied with our choice.

A small hotel about five minutes walk from th bus station and town centre.
Rather basic, but clean and everything works.
Breakfast is self-service and offers simple continental fare of eggs, meat and cheese, plus cooee, toast and orange juice.
We had an enjoyable three days here.

I have stayed in so many different hotels in Santorini with the majority (if not all) being overpriced holes in the wall relying on the magnificent views as a distraction. Not Villa Soula. We stayed in one of the newly renovated deluxe rooms and it was absolutely value for money. Clean and new bathroom, nice little balcony, a day bed and air con that worked smashingly. What more could we want? 2 minutes from town and the clubs and the centre of town and you don't even need to walk on a main busy road like from Firastefani. That said, if you're not interested in the clubs and will try to get shut eye when everyone else is partying you could hear the music into the wee hours of the morning so that could be annoying to families.

Breakfast wasn't great but then - that's the norm in Greece. You can't beat the location, the amenities and the price. Will ONLY ever stay here again when I go to Fira. Don't get scammed into paying for a view. Everywhere you walk has a view - that's how Santorini is. They just rely on tourists to lap up the view from the bedroom. If you're going in Summer you will find a hundred bars open where you can take in the view and drink an ouzo with some olives for 12 euro - much cheaper and a better experience than paying 300 euro for a room. We ended up paying for triple for the view in Oia and it was nowhere half as good our experience at Villa Soula.

Strong wi-fi connection helped too :)

Room Tip: Pick the newly renovated rooms. They are a little dearer but worth it.
