“Beautiful hotel and view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2012

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel Keti. It was awesome . Easily accessible spotlessly clean. The view was amazing of the caldera. A quiet small hotel with extremely helpful friendly staff. Great breakfasts as well. Fira itself can be noisy but the Hotel is well protected from most of the noise

Room Tip: We had a superior room which was lovely. Our daughter had a standard room which was also very nice b...

We stayed here for 5 nights and had an awesome experience. Yannis at reception was a wealth of experience, advice and exceptional in his manner. We had just had our passports stolen in Athens, beware the metro, actually avoid Athens all together. Yannis showed us compassion that was so sadly lacking in Athens for our predicament. The hotel is in the best spot on the caldera, you won't ever forget your first glimpse from the hotel. The room was atmospheric and spotless, it was a good size and came with a fridge. They will organize to have your bags carried up or down to the hotel, there are many steps. All in all, a fantastic hotel, with great service and staff and exceptional value.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Keti when we visited Santorini in 2009 (the drop-down list does not have 2009 for me to choose, so i had to pick 2011). We booked the honeymoon suite, which had a nice curved ceiling over the bed. The room was very comfortable, though could be a bit cold in the middle of the night. There's also a small square window at the foot of the bed, which opened to the caldera view!

This hotel offers one of the greatest views right from where you sleep. Surely it's worth the money!

Room Tip: Honeymoon suite if you can afford -- it's once in a lifetime!

In a place like Santorini you should be in your room as little as possible. But this one was cute and comfortable for the time we were in there, staff was beyond helpful, and words cannot describe the view.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Keti, 19-22 March 2012. I learned of this hotel from the Lonely Planet website that lists it as a recommendation. Having a recommendation in this guide book made me have high expectations for it. I was not disappointed at all.

Yes, there are stairs to descend and climb to get to and from the hotel. In my view, anyone with "normal" mobility should not have a problem with this.

The view of the caldera is amazing. Yannis was exceedingly helpful in suggesting a restaurant to attend during my non-tourist season stay. He also was very helpful in helping me plan my hikes (Oia, Ancient Thira from Parissa, etc.).

The room I stayed in (Cave Room, king size bed) was clean and well maintained.

Wifi internet was sketchy from the room, but worked very well from the reception lobby and I was even able to Skype back to my family.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying on Santorini.

A superbly restful time with built in periodic exercise routine ascending the stairs to the Santorini streets. Suite with private balcony felt like a spacious ancient cave and commanded superb views of the Caldera. Serve yourself breakfast was understated but perfect for us and well worth the money. Staff were helpful. Don't bother getting taxi to hotel, as they merely drop you at the top of the town with no added advantage over the bus. Intend to book the same room on my return...

Room Tip: Get the charming room with the private balcony.

Our stay capped off our trip to Greece and it was just spectacular. We stayed in the Cave Room and were very comfortable. The view simply cannot be beat, the room was very comfortable and clean and the staff gracious and very helpful. The breeze coming in through the windows and the entertainment of watching the cable cars, climbers and mules going to and from the old port were highlights of staying here. The bed needs to be turned around, because someone has to climb over the other person to get out. My biggest complaint is the lack of any way to make tea or coffee. There is a stove, but no pan and no electric kettle. Someone will bring you hot water if you ask.Wifi is spottty as mentioned and the climb is brutal, but it is anywhere you would stay with this unimpeded view.

Room Tip: Choose a room according to price. There are plenty of shared balconies to catch the view.
