This is a very modern and luxurious hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. On arrival you receive a glass of water, a refreshing towel and a tour of the hotel. Lovely rooms and surrounds. The hotel's in a fantastic location. The only downside was at breakfast; there was certainly the largest choice of food I've ever seen at a buffet but with all that choice there was no fresh or tinned fruit. I found this very strange and disappointing.

Overall the hotel experience was great. They have a nice lobby, good pool areas and generally good service (food at pool took about 30 minutes). The hotel reception people spent time with you to talk about things, where to drive, ect. It had a boutique hotel feel. The breakfast was well put together. My only disappointment on the trip was more about Santorini and the traffic jams and throngs of people. It's a stunning island, but somewhat of a zoo. The hotel is well located to get to anywhere in Fira. There are no views of the caldera from the hotel but 50 feet away you can get them.

We were not fortunate to stay in the hotel, wish we had. However, my cousin and I usually get a massage during our travels. This hotel had lovely amenities, and the massage was superb. There was a bathing room which was private and absolutely lovely. The staff was beyond wonderful and catered to our every whim. The location is perfect, at the top of the hill, makes for easy access. Would recommend as a good hotel which will not disappoint.

Room Tip: Recommend for those who love to be pampered.

We stayed at the Aressana for 8 nights and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful , very classy, clean and well decorated. We were upgraded on arrival (a nice surprise!) to an upper floor room which we found to be extremely comfortable and a good size. The bed was huge and very lovely to sleep on and the aircon worked very well. The bathroom was a little on the small side but still very nice, fresh towels were delivered daily and our rooms were cleaned every day on request. In the evening a maid would bring us two little cakes and offer night service. We also had a balcony with two chairs and a table which was lovely to sit out on.

The pool was perhaps slightly smaller than expected but it was a luxury that many other of the hotels in the area could not offer and we were usually the only two in there. The water was cold but very refreshing and the seating around the pool was incredible.

The staff were always more than happy to help you out- we got sun-burnt quite badly one day and we were given a 'local remedy' of greek yoghurt which worked wonders! The staff seemed to take a personal interest in all of its guests and made for a truly friendly atmosphere.

We ate in several nights and found the food to be not only delicious but very competitively priced, and the staff were happy to change aspects of the dishes or add ingredients.
We took advantage of the spa facilities during our stay and received excellent service. The hotbeds and Jacuzzi can be used for a very reasonable price and the massages we had were excellent.
Breakfast, as we were warned was very Greek and is perhaps not to everyone's taste. There was a wide variety of choice and always something we enjoyed- the honey especially was amazing. We were always offered coffee/tea each morning and the juices were greatly enjoyed.

Overall - an unforgettable stay.

Nice location, friendly helpful staff and clean rooms. A little expensive though. Didn't try the food, so i can't judge. As for the pool don't get fooled by the photos, the pool is quite small but still nice, if you can find a place :).
