My wife and I stayed three nights. standard rooms are on the first floor. They are noisier and can't get completely dark at night. Rooms are average, bathroom is average. Tv channels very limited. Breakfast we had at rooftop. This was very nice because the weather was great and the view is great. The lady in charge at desk, I think Nina, is very good and helpful. Couple of things to remember. Cars can't reach the hotel so you will be dropped off about a hundred feet or so away. You need to be able to drag your luggage that distance and up the stairs on your own. One good thing about being in the middle of downtown, you are close to multiple stores and restaurants...there is a fast food area closeby too. The way this is set up, it is more of a B and B.

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful hotel we felt like we were home. We spent 5 nights and didn't want to leave! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the home made breakfast was divine! So far its been the best part of our 7 weeks in Europe. We would highly recommend this to family and friends!

Marvellous view to the volcano and sea... nice and clean room and bathroom. The views were spectacular from everywhere, and it is right in the middle of the shopping district, and about 5 mn walking to the bus station.
we were 3 and stayed 4 days. the lady of the reception was very nice and helpful in the reception, she made sure or trips were very well organized.
The balcony where we had our breakfasts is the best place ever to sit and relax at any time. We were able to access the internet everywhere in the hotel.
it is highly recommended.

We spent 3 amazing nights at this wonderful little hotel in early July '13. The panoramic view from our patio was one of the highlights of our trip. We anticipated getting up in the morning to eat the perfectly prepared breakfast that was delivered right to our patio where we could eat and take in the view. Each evening we could sit and watch the remarkable sunsets. The room was spacious and clean, though we didn't spend very much time there other than sleeping. Our hostess, Konstantina, was incredibly helpful in sorting out the bus routes and recommending tours and restaurants - each of which was excellent. Her bubbly personality made us feel so welcome. The hotel location was perfect - right in the middle of the action. It was only a couple block walk to the bus station which allowed us to travel anywhere on the island - Akrotiri, Oia and the beaches. Great restaurants nearby. In our 3 weeks in Greece, the views and location provided by this hotel were perfect.

Good location, amazing views, wonderful hostess. The rooms were very roomy and beautifully clean. The views were spectacular from everywhere, and it is right in the middle of the shopping district. The first down side is that it is a bit of a trek to the hotel. Taxis cannot go all the way and you have to drag your bags up a 200m cobble stone road (uphill), and then there is a flight of stairs after this. Konstantina is very obliging and helps with the suitcases up the stairs and to your room. Once you get there it is very worth it. One other down side is that there is music from parties and night clubs goes on untill very early in the morning. When you shut the windows the noise is blocked but the room can get very stuffy.

Room Tip: We got room 9 - Top level at the end, next to the Jacuzzi and we love it.

This is a very friendly place and you feel at home here. It's very well located in the centre of Thira but not noisy. The breakfasts are very nice, with only one tiny detail being the orange juice, which tastes like Tang, so we got a bottle of better orange juice at a nearby grocery store and put it in the fridge and drank it on the sly! We are glad of our choice since we could get to any part of the island easily and didn't get stuck in touristy Oia. It was easy to take the bus to Kamari Beach several times a day and back. All in all very good value for Santorini.

Room Tip: Don't feel put out if you don't have a Caldera view since you have a good view from the terr...

We had a four day stay at this hotel and it was perfect! Great views of the volcano and caldera from the balcony and the most delicious breakfast served daily either in your room or outside on the balcony. The rooms were spotless and our hostess was incredibly helpful with suggestions on what to do around the island, directions, and places to eat. The hotel is also located in the center of Fira so it was incredibly convenient and just steps away from shops and restaurants. It is true that you need to walk a little bit from where the taxi/bus drops you off, but it isn't much of a trek at all. I was actually surprised at how close the hotel was after reading the reviews here. Thanks Theoxenia for such a memorable time!
