Small boutique hotel with great views across the caldera. Family owned/run hotel with hosts Petros, Zina & Vasilis providing excellent service from the home cooked Greek breakfasts each morning to their advice on restaurants, day tours etc - nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean, well appointed and each had a balcony giving great views, especially of the sunset that rivalled that from Oia. We would recommend this hotel to couples looking for somewhere quiet with great views while still being right in the centre of Fira and close to the restaurants / nightlife. Only downside was that like nearly every hotel on the caldera it is a bit of a walk to get to as there is no vehicle access so don't expect a taxi to drop you right at the door. Would definately stay here again on our next visit to Santorini.

My Husband and I have just returned from our 5 weeks in Greece, we celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary and both our 50th Birthdays, the last week of our holiday was spent at the Villa Renos. We booked the accommodation via tour travel agents in Australia, but made email contact with 'Vasilis' and had great communications with him leading up to the trip.

We stayed in Room One, it was a spacious, well appointed, spotlessly clean room, carefully decorated in a traditional chic Aegean theme and the views from the balcony were fantastic. The views of the Sea, Village, Volcano and surrounding islands were so fantastic that we spent every afternoon relaxing, sunbathing and soaking up the views fand unforgettable sunsets from the balcony, we made gret use of the dip pool to cool down, mix with other guests and made some nice new friends.

The hotel is very elegant and tastefully decorated and the family are lovely, gentle souls who make you feel like family. The breakfasts made by Vasills mother 'Zina' were fantastic. We ate home made pancakes, fresh fruit grown from their own garden, freshly squeezed orange juice, handmade greek pastries and had the most wonderful poached eggs cooked for us each day and Zina's Pancotta is to die for, I can still taste it when I shut my eyes. The menu is altered every day so you get to have all her specialties.

Vasillis and his parents 'Petros' and 'Zina' were super and gave us great tips on where to eat and where not to, where to visit and what not to miss, since our return we have been reccommending the Villa Renos and the island of Santorini to absolutely everyone. Its without a doubt one of the best places that I have ever been to.

We had a very special time with them and we thank them deeply for the care and thoughtful way they made sure we had a truly wonderful time. We will always remember our special time with them and treasure the memories made in Santorini. We hope to visit and stay with them again soon.

Many Thanks and deep regards ~ Vasilis, Petros & Zina.

My wife and I stayed in Villa Renos this August. The stay was in one word "splendid". Vasillas and his family were wonderful, the advice the gave us on which restaurants to visit and those to avoid, or which excursions were of value and should be taken were all welcome. The views from the hotel are breaktaking and the moring breakfest's prepared by the family simply delicious. We stayed in Santorini for four days and it was amazing visit and Vasillas and his family made the visit that much more special. I definitely recommend those vacationers wishing to be spoiled and indulge in what Santorini has to offer stay at Villa Renos. We had a splendid visit.

Villa Renos, has the WOW factor.
It’s situated in the heart of Fira, with minimal steps back to Town.
The family owned and run villas, are spacious, scrupulously clean and the balcony view is to breathtaking!
Really enjoyed Breakfast, which was homemade, delicious and plentiful.
The Hotel staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable locals.
I would definitely stay there again.

After being recommended this hotel, it was the perfect finish to our European holiday. Petros, Zena and Vassilis were fantastic hosts and made our stay very authentic and enjoyable. The breakfasts were traditional, very tasty and filling, and the views from the room were outstanding. A tip for staying in Thira (or any of the hilltop villages) is to be close to the top. Unless you are in training anything more than 150 steps in the heat can be a challenge. It is 25 steps from the top to the reception of the hotel. It's location is perfect.

The service was exceptional! It is owned by a family and that is exactly how we were treated. There was a home made breakfast every morning and we were so full that we didn't need lunch. If we asked a question, we got an honest and extemely helpful and useful answer. Our room was perfect. The view from our own private balcony was amazing. The sunset from our room was to die for. It was in the most perfect position. We were in walking distance from shops and restaurants. I recommend this place to everyone!!

What a experience!!! For my family the best of Santorini is Villa Renos. My room was amazing (if possible ask for room number 3). A fantastic jaccuzzi at our balcony. The view is perfect for volcano and sunset. Not to many steps to reach the room. Location is perfect.
I have no words to describe " THE BREAKFAST". But the most important are Vassilis, Zina and Petros, they are the nicest hotel owners i had ever met. You must know this place.
