Description: ASSYRTICO Wine Restaurant cafe, since 2011, offers alternative and innovative suggestions of the Greek Cuisine, using mainly local and selected products from around Greece. The same philosophy inspired the restaurant's wine list. A wide variety of wines from Santorini and the rest of Greece can be explored with the help of the professional staff of the restaurant! In 2016 Assyrtico relocated and moved from the 1st floor to the Garden of the'60s mansion it was based.

We stopped here for lunch based on a recommendation from one of the locals - and boy was she spot on. This was probably the best restaurant we have eaten at on our whole trip to the islands. Make sure to get the calamari - it was fresh, light, and tasty. The Greek salad was the best I've had and the service was outstanding.

Pricey, and the service is iffy if they are busy, but the view alone is worth the visit.
Food is good, service is slow, but the atmosphere and view are spectacular.

An up-market feel compared to many other restaurants in Santorini, with professional service. Relaxed atmosphere. Typical Greek menu - loved the rather unhealthy tomato fritters! Good selection of reasonably priced Greek wine. Homemade bread was disappointing. First restaurant here to not offer a complimentary drink or dish. Enjoyable evening if otherwise a touch in unmemorable.

We came to these restaurant twice during our short break because it was so good. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The view over the Caldera is excellent especially at sunset. The food was the best we had in Santorini really great tasting and nice looking dishes.

We came here after a wine tour through Santorini, so it was cool to see so many local wines on their menu.

Loved the saganaki and tomato fritters. My husband had a pork dish which was good. My sea bream was fresh, but doused in this yellow sauce that overpowered it.

Expensive, and I am sure there are better restaurants for the value out there. Solid choice if you are looking for a big night out.
