“Good Food & Great Hosts”
Reviewed January 9, 2013 via mobile

We were walking around Fira looking for a place to eat and came across Salt and Pepper. Vaguely remembered reading good things about the place and we werent disappointed. The hostess was this lady (whose name I forget) who was really warm and chatty. She made us feel comfortable and made some good recommendations for the lunch. We ate Pork Souvalaki and Chicken both of which were well made. We asked for the dessert menu and she said that they didnt have one (much to our surprise). And then she added that they served the dessert of the day to all thir guests and out came great tasting baklava. By this time we were full and chatting with her and she brought out a cheese croissant with cherries that she had made for herself for lunch. This was as heavenly as the baklavas. We left something for the souvenier wall and left. Will try and visit once more in the next couple of days left at Santorini.

“Great hospitality and delicious traditional Greek dishes!”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

This restaurant was a great find for us while visiting Santorini in the off season (December). Most of the restaurants were closed and we had trouble finding a quality restaurant that was open for lunch and dinner. We searched on TripAdvisor and found Salt & Pepper and were delighted. The Owner and her husband offered a warm welcome as soon as we walked in. Irene went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even went so far as to book us a reservation at another restaurant for New Years Eve! The food was exceptional with the Chef's own unique flare on traditional Greek food. The atmosphere was quaint and casual. Like us, you'll probably find yourself visiting Salt & Pepper several times if your stay exceeds 3 days.

“Feels like home the minute you walk in !!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

We visited this place in off season December. Most place on the island were closed but this place was still buzzing with people, the owner takes personal care of all the guest and you feel welcome the minute you walk in. The chef made flavorful vegetarian food on request. Everything we tried was great, the house wine was too strong for our taste otherwise a perfect place to dine, thanks for the homely feel and great hospitality.
