“Very good meal and good value”
Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

This is a friendly and good value restaurant with a good range of freshly prepared meals.

You will find the prices cheaper than others, although their view may be better.

“Who needs a Caldera view when you have an amazing place like this?”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

Beautiful food, friendly, welcoming service and a great atmosphere, even in low season!

Irene takes time to talk to customers, to add the personal touch. She also gives free starters and dessert - all home made!

“Gorgeous restaurant - a good find!”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Excellent traditional Greek food, and extremely good value. Run by very friendly husband and wife team. We had 3 meals there during our stay on Santorini and thoroughly enjoyed each one. If you eat there you won't regret it!

“Wonderful Food, Welcoming Atmosphere.”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

A couple of things to note,
1. No sea view, important for some
2. Not "fine dining" again important for some

If these things don't bother you then this is a great restaurant, with such a welcoming atmosphere you think you have returned home.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. There is no one at the door trying to drag you in but rather seems to rely on its excellent reputation for custom.

We have a few more days in Santorini and will definitely be eating here again before we leave.

“Great meal and lovely host”
Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

Went here last night had a lovely meal, we were greeted by the owner and given complementary starters of vine leaves and tzatziki which was really lovely even though vine leaves are not my thing my partner enjoyed them. He ordered the egg plant stuffed with Fava beans which was really delicious. For mains we had lamb chops and I had chicken walnut which was lovely quite rich and sweet. We were also given free deserts which was a nice touch. Had a litre of red wine and some nice chat from the owner. Will be going back again no point spending a lot of money on sea view restaurant when there is this excellent place to eat
