We were a group of 26 people cruising with Pegasus, her very caring captain , his aid and the famous Santorini guide Didier. The ship high standards and comfort were highly appreciated by all. High quality food was also provided on board at noon, especially fine and varied greek specialities, ouzo of course and perfectly chilled white wine. We have been cruising in the Caldera, visiting the islands accompanied by the documented and helpful comments of Didier. Indeed, we were very impressed by the cliffs and other geological features of the area. In conclusion, we highly recommend Pegasus and the guide for such a one-day cruise.

Wonderful and leisurely tour of the caldera, stopping at both of the 'chimneys', Nea Kameni for a walking tour and off Palio Kameni for a swim in the thermal pools off the small islet. And finally, a great view of the sun setting from the entrance to the caldera.

My friends and I we took exclusively last July, the traditional sailing boat PEGASUS for a day cruise around the caldera of Santorini.

First stop the volcano of Nea Kameni. An elementary experience, walking as fas as possible from the masses and main paths across a luna-like landscape, guided by Elfi.

Next stop the island Palaia Kameni offered both Fun and therapy! We were allowed to dive into the refreshing floods of the hot springs, splashing about in the warm fumeroles and digging in the sulphurous mud. After the swim, a local ouzo and Greek snacks were offered by the captain.

After having passed the southern shores of the caldera and Aspronisi, the next stop on our cruise is the island of Thirassia for lunch and swimming. We were touched by the simplicity of archaic life this remote island embodies - the "Old Greece", or what Santorini may have been like fifty or a hundred years ago.

The way back to the Port was like a continuous Highlight - extensive views of the most beautiful and highest caldera cliffs, an impressive finale accompanied by the sounds of the sea and of Greek music. What a fantastic experience!

EVCHARISTO - As Elfi told us in Greek means "Thanks a lot".

Santorini! I believe that it's the most amaging island of the world! We visit it every year,but...this time,we took a 4 hours private cruise around Santorini with "PEGASUS"a fantastic wooden schooner! Everything was grate that day: the weather, the trip and the famous Caldera view! Captain Dimitris and our guide Elsi tried the best for us to have an unforgetable!!! timeon Pegasus. The greek "mezedes" were very very tasty and Santorini's wine the best as always! Thank you so much! We can't wait to see you again!
