We spent one night here in July and it was the most wonderful experience, The staff could not help you enough, the rooms were amazing, spacious and clean, the view was to die for.
The restaurant was beautiful we had dinner over looking the sunset which was just magical.
The pool area was just stunning overlooking the Cyclades...if your looking for a romantic place to stay or just simply a quiet getaway this is it.. Oh and the bedding was like sleeping on a cloud.

Stayed at Petit Palace for the second time July 25-30, 2014. This place is perfect - crazy romantic, fantastic sincere service from a super team and I don't think you will find a better hotel view anywhere else on Santorini. Really so happy we went back for a second time and certainly will be back in the near future. The front office team we great arranging our quad rental (highly recommended), our helicopter tour and awesome restaurant and beach club recommendations. Restaurant and bar team are so nice and always smiling and never say no we don't have that!
You will enjoy your stay here.

Room Tip: rent a quad and if you want a great beach club with an awesome restaurant try Sea Side Beach Club.

Petit Palace is everything you're looking for in a Santorini hotel. The location is good, near enough yet far enough from the crowds. The hotel provides a shuttle service to Oia where you have all services and restaurants. The property itself is beautiful, every room has it's own balcony and famous Santorini sunset can be enjoyed from your own little spot. The common areas like the pool and lounge all have great views. Almost anywhere you look, there is a postcard shot you could take. The rooms are spotless and the sunken bathtubs are a special touch. The toiletries are a local brand, so good you might want to buy some to take back home. The breakfast is generous.

The rooms are quite large, but some more cosy than others. If you can, try to choose the room when you get there.

Overall, highly recommended.

I wish I can say this was an amazing honeymoon...it was for the first 2-3 days but at the end of our trip it was a bit disappointing.
I will start by saying the staff is amazing and it makes up for the poor management. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds plus the rooms are immaculate.
The food is also great...pricey but good quality. There is no free water so be aware you need to pay for water in your room and at dinner only 2L bottles (about 3 or 4 Euros, can't remember).
We booked this hotel for 4 nights at the end of a long trip in Europe part of our honeymoon July 12-15. We took cabs to go into town for dinner, 5 Euros each way (the hotel has a shuttle but the scheduled hours didn't work out for us). Taxi to Oia was 20 Euros each way...and this is where I got pissed off...Last day we checked out at 12pm (reception told us it's fully booked and we can't extend as our flight was at 10pm - be it that way, I really don't believe it was all booked up but it sure looked busier than other times). A very large noisy group (Jersey Shore like) came in and it sure disturbed the tranquility of the place and the honeymooners. We were happy to be checked out as they came in for the weekend. Back to the taxi issue, when we arrived, the hotel arranged for us transportation from the hotel (10 Euros) and when we left we asked for the same. They told us it's all booked and ready to go. When the time came to leave, it wasn't the shuttle type transportation it was a taxi. Ok, no problem. The airport is 5 min away, of we went, got to the airport and the cab driver asked for 20 Euros. Hang on a second, a half hour ride to Oia was 18 Euros (20 tip included), I just hated to be taken advantage of the last day plus the hotel told me the transportation was arranged as I thought it would be charged on my visa! What if I didn't have cash on me? It was a little thing but after paying $4,000 for 4 days at the hotel I couldn't help but to feel ripped off. Everything is expensive on the island I get it but for this type of hotel I expect at least service to and from the airport included in the price. It just sucked that at the end of our trip we had to deal with that and it left a bitter taste specially because we sent numerous emails to the hotel and got no reply. When we emailed prior to arriving and asked about transport they replied to us within minutes but after we settled the bill and spent our money they did not bother. From the airport I called the hotel, reached the pool boy (he is awesome by the way, super nice guy) and kind of snapped at him (I apologize for that, not his fault of course) as he offered to drive to the airport and reimburse me the 20 Euros. The problem is not the money, it's what they led me to believe and how poorly they handle the situation. And most annoyingly the fact that we got no rely to our emails...not one. For that reason I would not go back, there are other boutique hotels that I would look at first before going to Petit Palace. Too bad, nice hard working staff - this hotel needs to learn a thing or two from real boutique hotels that don't try to suck every penny from their guests.

Dear Guest,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review about our Hotel. We really appreciate your feedback which although not necessarily pleasant for us, is absolutely valuable.

Every guest is unique for us and every opinion counts for us in order to improve our services.

With regards to the issues that you mentioned they are common problems for all the hotels in Santorini, not only in Petit Palace Suites.

Regarding the free bottles of water we would like to inform you that they are not provided complimentary in any hotel in the island or even in the restaurants and cafeteria.

We know that taxis might be more expensive than taxis in the destinations that you visited, but the rates are fixed. For example for Oia, as you already know, is 20 euros per way. For airport they charge also 20 euros per way, although is really close from our hotel, because they include the appointment and the suitcases.

In this point we would like to mention that we charge the same price for the transfers from and to the airport/port, which is 20 euros in total per way (10euros per person per way).
This is also the reason why we provide complimentary transfer from and to the airport/port to the guests that they made their booking through our official website.

We would like to inform you that our policy in Petit Palace Suites is to make our best in order to satisfy our guests and offer them high quality services making your stay a memorable experience. This is the reason why we offer to our guests, when we have availability without any extra charge upgrades and late check outs. Unfortunately, on the day of your departure we had no availability in order to proceed with your request.

In this point, we would like to thank you for your nice words for our personnel. That gives us the opportunity to become even better.

We hope to give us the opportunity in a future visit again our hotel to revert this negative impression.

Thank you in advance.

If you're booking for a special occasion or just a treat than this is the place for you. I cannot say enough positive things about this place.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We were placed here after our original hotel overbooked the rooms. The view is unbelievable, breakfast was fantastic and can be delivered to your room. Bartender was very nice and friendly. I had cut my foot on a chipped tile in the pool, the staff was helpful and instead of waiting for the shuttle bus, the concierge drove us to the other hotel in her own car for dinner. The only issue with this hotel was at because of the booking situation, we had to change rooms each night which after already having traveled for a week and a half, wasn't ideal for relaxing.
