I'm reluctant to call any restaurant or it's food 'the best', including this one. There are too many variables and people's expectations differ. However, the owner of the Triana, who is also Mine Host, has no such qualms and he will cheerfully and repeatedly remind you that he doesn't serve 'frozen' food like 'all the others'. He is an engaging, proficiently multi-lingual gentleman whose humour and style are memorable.
Supposedly on the 'wrong' side of the hill, the outdoor terrace restaurant still offers broad sea views and a family atmosphere.
Mrs Maitre'd does the cooking and the food IS good, among the best authentic Greek food you will find.
