“Nice place to relax and good food”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and often came for coffee here. They have Illy coffee, by the way.
Food is very good, even though I did not like all the dishes we had.
Breakfast : we had the american breakfast with scrambled eggs, which the menu said had eggs, of course, bacon or ham and cheese. The scrambled eggs came with cheese and tomato, to our surprise. We asked where ghe bacon was, but no explanation was given. Freshly squeezed orange juice, yummy. Very tasty bread.
Lunch : we had a greek salad, a Santorinian salad and a pasta carbonara. All were very nice. I esp. liked the Santorinian salad.
Dinner : eggplant salad, stuffed grilled squid and Santorinian salad again. The eggplant salad was good, but I like it more pure, with just salt & pepper and garlic. Here they mix it with lots of raw onion and other vegetables. This I didn't like all that much. Also the stuffed squid is good and comes with vegetables, but again I prefer it just grilled. No frills.
The service was good. Staff is friendly. Just keep in mind : this is Greece, not US ! Meaning : take your time, relax, it's holidays, no hurry.
All in all, a very nice place and good food.

“Beautiful garden”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

We stumbled across this place (literally) on our way home on the 1st night and vowed to go back the next evening. The gardens were lush and inviting-big trees, flowering plants and ponds-it felt like we were in a candle-lit secret garden. The food was fab too. Fried cheese was ok, but the potato, spinach and cheese gratin was yummmm. The beef fillet clay pot with aubergine, potato and feta may well have been the best meal of the entire holiday! Overall one of our favourite restaurants and well worth a visit.

“Tasty food, good value”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

This outdoor restaurant is like a lush garden, and has home style Greek food and fresh seafood. They serve 40 different beers from around the world. We were seated quickly and were soon treated to their delicious Santorinian salad. There was a fairly long wait for our entrees, but the carbonara pasta was very tasty. I asked the waitress to help me choose between this dish and a local variation of spaghetti, and I was happy with the choice. The prices were very reasonable, but the service was a little slow. Overall, I would go back again.

“Lovely garden for lunch”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

Like an oasis in the heart of Fira, this place has good food at reasonable prices and is a great choice for a shady lunch. The service was friendly and all-round it was a very good experience.
