“Great view but average food and service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012

Best to book this restaurant and ensure you are seated before the sunset to get the best from the view. Starters of Fava beans and artichokes with fetta were great however the mains weren't as good. My partner had a lamb dish that was really tasteless and chewy. Nothing special except the view and there are other options for that you may want to try.

“Surprisingly good value (for a Caldera view)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

Awesome view and lovely staff. Dinner for two with wine €84, which seemed fine compared to other places with a similarly stunning view. Surprisingly generous portions - in other restaurants in Santorini ordering Octopus resulted in just a few tentacles, but here we got pretty much a whole one. "Barrelled wine" tasted fine to us, and at €8 for 500ml was a bargain. Bring a light jacket, after dark with the wind it can be a little chilly.

Apps were wonderful, had the croquettes with fried eggplant and zucchini. Main course: Seafood Risotto and my BF had Cod Fish. Desert was best in Santorini so far "Ekmek"

“Very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

I have eaten here three times in summer 2012 during my two holidays to santorini. I can always count on having a lovely, relaxing meal with good food, a beautiful view, and quiet service with a smile. It is lovely for a romantic meal or an evening alone . You can find relaxation just looking out at the caldera while enjoying your meal.

“Dining on the Caldera”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

Quite good Greek food (being of Greek origin). Mezethes are always the best to order. The mains are huge, we ordered too much. Not very expensive considering the view. 3 starters (mezethes), one main and 2 drinks were 45 euro. Staff were polite. The dishes were light on seasoning so don't be afraid to add salt and oil (if you like) and the tastes will come to life. Being up high and September it was a bit cool so take a jacket.
