“Stunning Caldera views”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

We stayed in a superior studio for 3 nights in July. Firstly, the views from our terrace were stunning. High up on the cliffs with views for miles around.

I think our room was one of the better ones, as the terrace was private, and quite a lot of them are a bit public as you have to walk past them to get down to the reception and pool. If you want privacy, make sure you note that on the booking. For Santorini, which is pricey, this place is very reasonable - we paid around 100EUR p/nt. The room itself could do with some updating, but it was clean and comfortable - very nice bed. The shower cubicle was a bit dodgy though with one of those curtains that attacks you from all angles when showering.

Breakfast was very good and served at the pool. The pool is a decent size for Santorini, but it was sometimes difficult to get a lounger.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

One word of warning - as with a lot of hotels in Fira, there are a lot of steps (I reckon at least 100 to get back up to the main street).

The hotel charges 15EUR per person to get up from the port, which we didn't bother paying, as you can get a public bus for 2.50, which is only 5 mins walk to the hotel.

Definitely recommended as a reasonably priced option with THAT view (In Oia a couple of hotels were asking for 3000 a night, and their view couldn't have been any better).

Room Tip: Superior studios are much more private than standard ones

Me and My Fiance stayed her end of may this year and i must say i was so suprised buy how amazing this place is, the photos just dont do it any justice.
The views are spectacular the host are brillant and our room was beautifull. It really made our first time in Santorini a brillant one.
They arrange for someone to come and pick us up from the airport and a porter carried our luggage down all 160 steps to our villa.
Steps were certinley worth it. Its close to absoulty everything, food shopping more amazing views. I loved the pool area were we sat every night drank coctails and watch the amazing Santorini sunset.
Amazing place would certinly stay there when we go back.....and we certinly will =)

Incredible service and view. A little pricey, but clearly worth it. We have poolside room, and window opened up to the most amazing view. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing! Magical views facing the volcano and surrounding islands. Blue water and brilliant beaches. Great staff who were all so very helpful. Very nice breakfast beside the pool and just outside the hotel lobby is many shops and restaurants along really cool road strips designed for walking along it. Though the only dissapointment was the air con wasn't working so we had to suffer extremely hot nights without much sleep.. but over all great place and great rooms, defiantly go if you want to go to Santorini!

Firstly hotel location is very centrality; just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the Thira & bus stations, restaurants, bars. The hotel’s landscape of course gorgeous and I think the best of the view, it make me to fall in love to Santorini. In the studio room everything present and practical. Hotel breakfast was very good. It is specially prepared as your selected content and service to you in the time you want outside near pool. Lastly this boutique hotel owner and staff were very friendly as like many of other Greek. It was a memorable and enjoyable stay. Thank you. I'd love to stay again in the future.

We only stayed here 1 night but really wish we could have stayed longer!

We booked a superior room and really couldn't fault it, we loved the room, the shutter windows and door on to the balcony and 'that' view, which was the perfect place to watch the sun go down over a glass or two of wine...

I'd definitely opt for a superior room on our return visit, as our balcony seemed to be one of the most private and secluded, as some opened on to the main stair; and as bathrooms are generally quite small in Greece this was no different. The kitchen area, sheer size of the room and comfy bed were all excellent!

As everyone says here, do be prepared for the many, many stairs, but the bonus is that once you've toned your legs doing all those steps from your tranquil room, you arrive in the heart of busy and bustling Fira! It was perfect for us.

The lovely breakfast out beside the pool, overlooking that view again was a great extra; and the staff were lovely and totally went out of their way to help.

We'd love to go back some day!

Room Tip: Our superior room was top for balcony privacy!

We stayed for 7 nights in June and left already wanting to return! The location is perfect if you can handle the steep stairs up to the main street. The studios feel very secluded given that you are only 30 metres (below) from the town centre.

We booked a superior studio and this was ideal. The bed is comfy and the room is large. The air con isnt very powerful though and we ended up leaving it running almost constantly. If we were to be really picky the only real downside to the room is the shower which is barely large enough for 1 person.

The kettle in our room didn't work but was quickly replaced, also the breakfast is a little tiresome after a few days and could offer more variation.

The pool is amazing and at this price point easily the largest of all the places we saw/looked at including some more expensive hotels aswell.

The staff are really friendly and accommodating.

Whilst Fira is full of tourists it's still the nicest place to stay in santorini, we hired a quad and saw all the island in a couple of days, a trip to the bay in Oia is a must though (although the restaurants were well overpriced and pretty moderate)

Volcano blue was the best restaurant we tried in Fira, the Greek Salad was immense.

Room Tip: Room 32 has one of the bests balconies.
