We ate here 3 nights out of 6 the stuffed grilled calamari drew us back for the third night
Manager was most apologetic that we had to wait once as they had a group of 30.
Food was unusual but very tasty and beautifully cooked

On recommendation from our hotel, we tried the Ouzeri ! A great choice ! Its not on the main drag, its slightly set back by the Church but it still enjoys a great seaview, the opposite side to the Caldera.
We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff , the menu is made up of lovely fresh , and some very different Greek dishes .
It was so good , we ate here twice during our stay !
On both occasions, for starters , we had 'Dakos' a local speciality, basically a Barley rusk, layered with fresh chopped tomato, fresh herbs, feta and drizzled in Olive Oil ....delicious, the meat balls in Ouzo are a 'must have' ....mouthwatering, we also tried a greek cheese served with cherries....incredible flavours !
Main course, the 1st time I had Prawns Saganaki, a spicy tomato and feta sauce....delightful, my partner had stuffed squid , again delicious.
On our return visit, I had a whole Seabass, very fresh and perfectly cooked, and my partner had the seafood spaghetti, which had loads of fresh seafood, mussels, giant prawns, calamari ....
The staff are fantastic, very welcoming, in fact, on both occasions, our waitress asked us if we would like her to suggest what to eat, this we did , and both times we were delighted with our meals !
The house wine is very pleasant and the atmosphere is great !
Go find this place ! They will make you very welcome !

Always enjoy visiting our friends there and they assisted me with a wedding party in September 2011 which was awesome.

Right off the main pedestrian street near the Orthodox Church but back just a bit so they don't have the huge prices. Nice service. Nice menu. We had the Zuchinni flowers because they were in season and the Tomato fritters. Santorini specialties. Nice service too.
