“Super Clean and Friendly!”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

This is a fantastic family run little establishment with spotless rooms. It is very affordable, within walking distance to the center and so quaint. The owners with their children are AMAZING. The hospitality is like no other. They had snacks and breakfast goodies stocked in the fridge and in the morning when I requested a yummy frappe, homemade scrumptious chocolate cake came with. Transfers to and fro to the port were free of charge - (at other "5 star" hotels in Santorini where you pay 400 euros per night transfer starts at 20 euros per two people per way AND rooms are filthy, mold under the mattress filthy, trust me, I worked at one, message me for details to avoid staying at one like that!). Overall, I cannot thank the owners enough for a wonderful, extremely friendly and breezy stay.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. They are very friendly and we both felt very welcomed. The room is clean and it even has a small area for cooking. They provided pick-up service from airport when we arrived and also sent us to ferry port when we left.

We spent one night here on our way to Ios. Excellent room, facilities and hospitality - welcomed on Rrival with cool drink and complimentary wine in our room. Ten minute walk to fantastic views and shops. Transfer from airport and to sea port all included in price. Only slight downside is that it is on a busy road.

A wonderful hotel located in the town of Fira. It a located in a very convenient location near to the town center and the bus station, which makes it easy to get to other parts of the island.

We had a wonderful stay in this little hotel for 4 nights and we enjoyed the stay very much. Our room is very clean and it has a small kitchen with breakfast essentials in it where we can prepare our breakfast in the morning. The owner, Maria is so friendly and we are being served with welcome drinks and cakes upon our arrival, which made us feel so welcomed to the place. They even give us a bottle of Greek white wine to taste. We were also being provided with lots of useful information about the island and they helped us to get our ferry tickets and sunset cruise tickets without any extra charges. They even offer a free transfer from/to airport/port. Definitely a great place to stay in Santorini!!!

Amazing place, we picked it up for our last night in Santorini. Thanks to Maria and her husband they are amazing people running that place with willing and love. The went beyond our expectations. The rooms are designed with style, everything was new and clean. We were fascinated from the sweet basket with two glasses white wine left for us.
Maria's husband picked up us from our last hotel and the next day drive us to the port.
It's one of the top hotels we ever been, you can feel like it's your home not hotel.
Thank you guyes, keep going with the same manner!!

It's not a big or chain-like hotel -- quite the opposite. Every detail is carefully taken care and the treatment given by the owners is indeed special, making you feel like you're part of the family. Rooms are new and of very good quality. You can notice that they thought through all the details to make guests more comfortable and the stay more enjoyable.

Location is good if you're planning to explore the island rather than staying in a single place. The villas are located centrally, very close (5 min walk) to the main bus station.

There's no "hotel breakfast" but they do provide almost everything you need for you to prepare your own breakfast. Just open the mini-bar and it's all there. She even gave us a local white wine for us to try!

One example why they go above and beyond the expected service is the free transfer. I booked the 2-bedroom studio thinking I'd need to take a taxi or shuttle from the port. Surprisingly though, Maria contacted me by email to make sure she had all the information to pick us up at the port and transport us for free to the hotel. She also took us back to the port, of course.
Also, while we waited for the apartment to be ready or for the car to take us to the port, they served us juice, snacks, chocolate.

I think that Maria and her family are made for hosting people in their Villa Rose. We loved the personal service. Picked up at the harbour, dropped of at the airport (even though we left quite early on a saturdaymorning). A welcome drink as we arrived. Fresh water and some wine in our room. This is really a warm welcome. The quality of the cleaning staff is fantastic. Everything is immaculate. Even though the pool is rather small our 9 yrs old boy enjoyed some time in it. There is a nice lounge area next to it for the parents to enjoy. The first evening I made us supper which we really enjoyed on the patio. We had the two bedroom white room, which is of good size for four and homely decorated.
Why not a five bullet rating?
-Breakfast. You will find breakfast supplies in your fridge. A selection of prepacked chocolate filled croissants, biscuits,... from German lowcost supermarket Lidl. Maria, wouldn't it be an idea to look into the possibility to work together with the cross the street pastryshop. Why not putting fresh croissants and bread on the doorstep each morning. This would be more in line with the great personal service you do offer. We would have been more than ready to pay for these extras.
-Shower. In our small bathroom there was a spiderlike system for the showercurtain. As it was not that practical (more of an contraption) our floor got entirely everytime we showered. There should be better options.
All this said this is great value for money. Don't expect views. Be aware that it's next to the main road on the island. It did not bother us but naturally has not the picture postcard feeling. Everything you want to see is closeby.
