We recently had the opportunity to visit the beautiful island of Santorini on our trip to Greece. The island was everything we heard it would be and more. The "more" was the delightful discovery of the town of Oia. Such a beautiful little town with lovely people and breathtaking photo opportunities around every corner. Tucked away down the cliffs of this beautiful part of Santorini was a gorgeous hotel. We braved the steps down hoping against hope that there would be a vacancy. The more steps we took the more we were willing to spend so that by the time we got to the office for the hotel we were ready to pay the price to stay there whatever it was. So, imagine our surprise when we were told the price (less than we had been paying on all other parts of our trip) and that "yes" they could accommodate us last minute....and were even able to allow us to see our room first. We were so excited! The hotel was BEAUTIFUL, the rooms so clean and pleasant and the staff was amazing. One of the best parts was that the porter carried our suitcases up and down the many steps so we did not even have to risk our lives. Our stay was everything we had thought it would be and more and this last night at this beautiful hotel made it an amazing experience for us and one that we will cherish in our memories. M.Clegg

Room Tip: The front desk allowed us to look at the rooms and choose the one we liked the best.

Best location to absorb the magical energy from the heart of the Caldera. If you look for luxury presented with simplicity and minimal artificiality, this is it. Wonderful, sincere staff, too.

Armeni Village in Santorini Oia is a great option for stay for a relaxed vacation. Nestled in the town of Oia, Armeni Village has the best view of the Volcano and the Caldera of Santorini Island.
The endless sea and the view of the other cliff side towns make this hotel extremely valuable for its price.
The breakfast is hearty and served with warmth ... The staff are very polite and extremely helpful... We had a private balcony on the cliff overlooking the Volcano thanks to the free upgrade Armeni Village gave us. The rooms are just big enough for 2, with clean and well kept furniture and amenities.
The staff helps with everything, from information on excursions (with no extra cost), to booking tables at their recommended restaurants. Although the pool is small the jaccuzi makes up for it.
The hotel was sold out when we visited for 3 nights...

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the town, where everything from shops for clothes, to daily necessities and popular restaurants are only a hop skip away.
The hotel is both romantic and family oriented...

This is a definite repeat stay for us!!! we look forward to seeing Santorini again and staying here!

Room Tip: Best pick and value for money would be the junior suite... with the private balcony.

This hotel has an incredible view, excellent service, and very comfortable rooms. I loved how they gave us a free upgrade from a deluxe room to a junior suite with an amazing patio view of the caldera. We certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends! Floran was awesome - he carried our bags at check-in and check-out (a tough task with the 76 steps to our room!) and delivered breakfast to our room each morning. This hotel is under new ownership this season and the staff is working hard to make sure it has excellent service with clean and beautifully decorated rooms. Our suite was very clean and the bed was expecially comfortable. The room had white walls with Greek blue, lavender, and periwinkle accessories. Loved it! My recommendation to future travelers is to book later in the spring than April - many restaurants had not opened for the season yet, and the weather was cold and windy for most of our stay. Even with the cold and wind, though, Santorini is an amazing place and the view from this hotel is breath-taking! It is very reasonably priced for its location!

Room Tip: Room #1 offers the most privacy and has a large patio with 2 lounge chairs and a table and chairs with an umbrella to help on those sunny days.
