Not the easiest to find, granted but when you do, what a reward. My food and wine were both fantastic. Very reasonably priced. Go, you won't be disappointed! ( I promise :))

Although this place is a little tricky to find, it is well worth it!! My husband and I could have eaten here every night!! The menu is authentic Greek food and the price is reasonable!! We shared a salad, fried potatoes, and a sausage dish called Spetzofai!!! It was fabulous!!!

If you're thinking of going for a meal here - then do!

We went for 2 nights out of 4 in Santorini - and I spoke personally to the chef to thank him. First night we arrived at 630pm and sat upstairs on the terrace and got a great sunset view. The following night we went back and sat inside downstairs and saw the cool calm and collected chef at work.

The food was great - especially the oven spiced potatoes, and the massive baklava! They also sell Crazy Donkey pale ale - yum!

Our waitress was fantastic and we left a generous tip as she was attentive, careful, friendly and kind. The interior decor is tasteful and classy with old school traditional things on display.

What a nice experience all round - a gem of a place in Oia - just wish other restaurants in Oia would take a leaf out of their book. Well done Meltini.

ps - if you have trouble finding it then just beyond the main drag is accommodation called Filotera Villas - go down the side street from here leading to the main road and this place is right next to the bus stop - it has a grey exterior.

Enjoy!

This place was our #1 go to during a 2 week trip around Greece. We ended up at this place 5 nights because the food is just that great. We tried other places in Oia and found them to be completely inadequate, overpriced and geared mainly towards tourists. Melitini breaks that mold, attracting some tourists (who manage to find it) and locals alike. Pantelis, one of the owners, is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food is a small plate format so be sure to try a few things. The best thing by far was the Saganaki Feta, fried chickpea balls, the egg dishes (forget the names) and the vanilla submarine for dessert.

Highly, highly recommend!!

Great service, really friendly and engaging, food is very good, it's tapas style so order about five courses per couple. Upstairs has an amazing view of the sunset, right now this is a hidden gem as it's a little off the tourist trail in Oia.
