Great hotel + pool. Poor breakfast

Amazing room that felt like a cave. Was the cheapest option (ground floor no balcony), but as a result was bigger than the ones with balcony. It was right by the pool and actually had a sea view from certain points! Had steps up to a nice sized bathroom with big shower. Room and bathroom had lots of surface space to put things on. It also had a spare single bed. Pool was great, had a sea view and was REALLY deep so fun for diving.

Breakfast was pretty poor. We went at various times (from 8.30-9.30) and never had hot eggs. There was only scrambled eggs too. And lots of things like cake/doughnuts/jelly, rather than normal breakfast items such as meats, different types of eggs/fruit. Only fruit there was consistently was tinned peaches, which don't really count. Had fresh watermelon once or twice only. Also the tap in our bathroom was really loose and had come away from the surface area.

Wedding guest/holiday

Excellent accommodation, staff all very helpful, food really good, very relaxing and within walking distance of shops, restaurants etc.
The rooms were really clean and the pool and surrounding grounds were well looked after.
Would definitely have no hesitation recommending the apartments to friends.

Very welcoming stay in a family owned hotel

We loved our stay in Santorini. The Anemomilos was a perfect place for location, price, and service. The restaurant at the hotel was "to die for". We had to force ourselves to explore other restaurants because we could have eaten every meal there! This was very convenient. The pool was well kept and a nice place to cool off and just relax on a lawn chair. We met another couple that paid for a luxury hotel that often ran out of hot water but at the Anemomilos we always had nice warm showers! We stayed in Oia the entire 4 days because it had everything we wanted including the best place for the sunset, good shopping, and overall great views. This hotel was very authentic and just outside of the main village strip. The staff were very helpful and made us feel like family. I would recommend the Anemomilos Hotel for anyone going to Greece who doesn't want to spend a fortune but still stay somewhere nice.

Fantastic, beyond value for money.

I have been visiting Oia since a little girl and remember eating at this restaurant often. I was very happy to hear they run a hotel and apartments. The price was very reasonable. Im familiar with the location, so im aware it does not face the caldera, but, it is so close its not an issue. When you get there, you will see that everything is very near and id rather save the money and walk an extra 30 seconds. Im happy with the sea view facing Baxedes which i think all rooms have.

On arrival, i was greeted by staff who helped me out of the car and into a disabled friendly room, as im a wheelchair user. I was not expecting a hot tub on the balcony! (this room was booked last min on my behalf)

My partner, 7 year old and i stayed here very comfortably. We were right on the main road which i thought would be noisy but the rooms are built very well and sound proofed nicely.

The staff were lovely and not intrusive, the cleaners also did a fantastic job. Was also happy to see the hot tub being cleaned daily.

Having the restaurant next door is ideal for kids, its reasonably priced by Oia's standards and the kids loved in there. The breakfast was brilliant, fresh juice, fruit, yogurt and pastries etc too much to choose from.

We will definitely be sending our friends over and going again ourselves..

Affordable luxury.

We booked this hotel and stayed for one night during the busy period of August. We were greeted by a lovely man who was quick to make us feel comfortable, he asked us how long we were staying and continued to inform us the location/walking distance to the shops etc. The room itself was very fresh and extremely clean with a large king size bed which was really comfortable. Room AND pool towels were provided along with an array of soaps and shower gells which was handy for our overnight stay.
We were fortunate enough to spend a couple of hours around the pool, this was a tranquil area with beautiful ocean views!
The hotel itself is minutes away from the strip of shops on foot, there is a supermarket directly opposite which was great for refreshments that could be kept cool using the in room fridge. Overall a fabulous stay, lovely staff, peaceful setting and extremely clean rooms/grounds.
