We stayed for 4 nights end of June and were given top room with balcony with amazing sunset views. Room was clean and large, double bed (plus a single) furniture had character. We didn't need air con , we left the door open so lovely breeze through room from the bathroom. We had a fridge and Margarita cleaned room daily. The pool was gorgeous with Jacuzzi and we had it virtually to ourselves. Wi fi is available near the pool only. Takiss the owner was very helpful organised a car for us one day (cheaper than in Oia) and gave us a lift up the hill to town a couple of occasions.(takes 10 mins walking but quite steep) He lives with his parents who welcomed us into their home. We didn't eat at the hotel we felt it rather pricey however Santorini is noticeably dearer than the other islands. If you want sunset views away from the crowds Ether is very good value and lovely quiet place to stay

We stayed for 3 days/2 nights. We arrived from our flight early in the morning and the owners were nice enough to let us check in early. Our room was okay, but the outside patio was unfinished and not very pleasing. We had a room that on the top level and was on the end with no other building on one side so the wind noise was absolutely horrible.
They did some rooms lower down in clusters that I believe would have been more quiet with regards to wind noise.
There was no cooking or microwave or hot plate allowed so that was a bit of a problem. They had a menu with very pricey items on it. The view was not very good. I will post some pics. The owner, margarita I think was her name, was very friendly. She did throw out our frappe mixer when cleaning "accidentally" but told us we could order frappe from her.(5€ each, I believe!)
If u don't mind a short hike it would be fairly easy to walk up to the center of Oia.( my MIL was with us so we had to drive to park up there as she has bad knees and couldn't walk the steep hill.)
If you are on a budget and don't mind a place with a not so nice view, after all u prob won't be staying in your room too much anyway, it's ok.
I would opt next time to stay elsewhere and pay more.

Brilliant ocean views, but not of the Caldera, rather the "back side" of the island, which was absolutely fine. Got a pick up from the bus station, but on the back of a scooter! No TV, no a/c, no wi-fi in rooms, and even around the pool, the signal is very weak. 10-15 mins uphill walk to the town, there is nothing at all near this hotel. The road is not lit at night, so suggest you arrange your own transport! I would hvhe eenjoyed the evenings here so much more with wi-fi in the room.
