Stay here, treat your self you won't be disappointed. the sunset is like no other, the breakfast I still dream about and yes I love food. We stayed in the Eros suite and it was just perfect, the private pool and veranda where truely magical to take in the amaizing view. The staff could not do enough for you, 5 star experience all the way. Thank you Art Maisons Oia Castle for a memorable stay in Santorini.

Art Maisons hotel is in a view point where have excellent view of sunset. The hotel receptionists are very thoughtful, make a phone call to ask breakfast everyday. They give us a lot of tourism information and enthusiastic help.

We stayed here in May. Junior Volcano Suite was exactly as advertised. We suggest this place to people who like authenticity.
Staff was really helpful, soothing and they did their best to create a peaceful atmosphere. We discovered a lot about the island with the help of Yordan. He is quite friendly and will definitely make you feel comfortable.
Oia is an ideal choice to stay and take photos in Santorini. However, note that reaching a place to swim in Oia is not easy and it'd be best to go to known beaches of the island (e.g. Kamari, Perissa) after you rent a car.

We were there for a few nights in May before the high season. We had the room with a terrace and jacuzzi by the donkey trail. A little less privacy but more interesting view. Best view in Oia since all the tourist from all over come to the ruins up the hill above us to view the sunset. We had our own private viewing area while sipping champagne in the jacuzzi tub! It came with a price but well worth it. We are from US and won't be able to go there so often like the Europeans so might as well treat ourselves. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful, can't ask for more. Room is very unique, clean, and well appointed, will never be able to experience that anywhere else. Breakfast is very nice and we tried everything. Their sister property was closed for renovation. We went there to check it out and found out that it has the famous Oia postcard view with the 3 blue domes. Might go there next time when we can afford it.
Thank you Jordan for making our first Santorini trip so memorable.

Where do we start? This hotel was more than we could have imagined. We stayed in the Sunset honeymoon suite for 7 nights for the 2nd leg of our honeymoon. Starting from our arrival at the post office in Oia we were greeted by Tasos who was friendly and welcoming carrying our bags up and down the millions of steps to the hotel in the burning heat. A mean feat! Walking past the tourists in Oia we were greeted at our sunset suite by Jordan who was friendly, showing us around giving us tips on how to make the most of our amenities. We were then left to enjoy our first sunset with champagne and truffles! One of the reasons we chose this suite was the location and views getting the best sunset view on the island and close to centre of Oia. On your balcony you have comfortable seats, sun loungers and a jacuzzi. We spent all of our time there relaxing, eating breakfast, reading and watching the world go by.
When the sun begins to go down all the tourists gather in this location crowding the bars, walls and restaurants around you for a prime spot. We felt like royalty with our own private terrace!!
Breakfast is served complimentary every morning at your time of choosing until 12pm. If you ring your order in the evening you speak to lovely Daniela who looked after us during our stay. Choice for breakfast from juice, butter and marmalade then pastries including brown and white bread, croissants, leek pie, choice of cereals then onto Greek dishes such as salad, bruschetta, smoked ham and cheese. Finally yoghurts and fruits. Breakfast fit for a King!
The room itself is very traditional and Greek with old fashioned artefacts. Cleaned everyday by a friendly maid. The kitchen is compact with fridge and a coffee/tea maker with a stock of teas and coffees replenished every day. In the living area is air conditioning with a tv and you have your own safe free of charge. The bathroom is upstairs with a beautiful view to Amoundi Bay.
Oia is picturesque and beautiful. We had fabulous meals and would recommend Roka,Kyprida and Ferendini for evening meals. We ate at Floga too through the day which was nice. Have a drink in little bar at the bottom of the steps below red bicycle called 39 steps. Try the santorini beer either red, yellow or crazy donkey. My husband liked the crazy!! Or a mojito if you prefer cocktails. In the bus square the gyros is delicious we liked the place down the alley with garden and green circular sign. Try wine from Santo Wines in all supermarkets very good!
All and all it was amazing, a trip of a lifetime. Jordan,Daniela and Tasos and the girl who serviced our room were amazing and couldnt have done more for us!! Thank you so much!
And if you stay in the sunset suite look out for Larry and Lenny two tiny lizards who live under the jacuzzi but pop out to say hello every day. We miss them .........

Room Tip: Pick Oia castle!!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Oia Castle for a portion of our honeymoon. The staff is absolutely wonderful and will cater to your needs. The rooms are large, clean, and you cannot beat the sunset views from your private balcony. You have the ability to customize your breakfast order and the staff will either bring it to your balcony or your room, whichever you prefer. The staff is also good when asking for advice for excursions or restaurant recommendations. The hotel definetely exceeded our expectations in every way!

My wife and I stayed at Art Maisons 'Oia Castle' in their Aqua Suite for 8 days in August 2012.
The hotel is fantastic. We had travelled to Paris, Rhodes, Marmaris and Athens before finishing in Santorini to rest prior to returning to the real world.
We were met at the entrance to Oia Village (at the Post Office) by Tasos. With a warm greeting, he loaded our bags onto his trolley and off we set on the 10 minute walk to Hotel Reception. There we met Jordan and Daniella- both very friendly. As we arrived early, Jordan sent us to Kastro restaurant for a delicious, early lunch while our suite was prepared. When the room was ready, Jordan came to get us to escort us to the suite to explain the ins and outs.
The Aqua suite is beautiful. All white, as is the standard. A cave style suite with spacious living / dining area (never used) arched windows and door through to the bedroom. A complete kitchen (never used, other than the fridge and coffee machine). Old, clawed bath in the bathroom, with matching vanity etc. Off the bathroom is the completely enclosed / indoor cave swimming pool. This is quite a novelty, complete with variable lights from standard soft blue and green to flashing multicoloured disco style. To be honest, the pool was an attraction that didn't meet our expectations. It would have been nicer if it had extended outside to some extent. Additionally, it was not cool enough for my liking, being almost tepid.
The terrace outside the room is shared with the adjacent Marine Suite. We ate breakfast here every morning, enjoying the beautiful view and perfect temperature. Purely by coincidence, we only shared the table for breakfast with our neighbours once, simply due to the elected times beiing different.
The provided breakfast is nice but nothing spectacular. Staff will certainly endeavour to meet any special requests you have though.
Downstairs and to the left is Aqua Suite's small private terrace. This has a couple of sun lounges and a deep bench cut back into the cliff face, adorned with soft pillows.
Downstairs to the right is Marine Suite's private terrace. This terrace also has sun lounges and a pillowed bench cut into the cliff. Importantly though, it also has a Jacuzzi - again, this is sunk back into the cliff. Hotel management offered us the jacuzzi on one of our evenings. It was absolutely perfect. I think it is better than the cave pool in our suite, because it is outside. All three terraces and the jacuzzi face the famous Santorini sunset. The view from these rooms would have to be approaching the best available on the island. It was particularly nice to sit in the jacuzzi, sipping champagne (a gift from the hotel), watching the sunset while the rest of the world had to sit on the stairs below the hotel or clamber onto a roof for an inferior view.
Following an enquiry to hotel staff regarding a local laundry, the hotel offered to do our laundry (not ironing- they provided us with an ironing board when requested) for a minimal rate, well below normal hotel rates. This sort of service is exceptional.
So, down to pros and cons.
Pros:
If not the best, then very close to the best possible location in Oia as far as the view goes.
A very romantic setting and accommodation.
Warm, friendly, genuinely helpful staff.
Beautiful room. Always spotlessly clean.
Welcome bottle of sparkling wine and hand made chocolates is a nice touch.
Private indoor pool.
Private terrace.
Staff ensure your privacy at all times. The only time we were called was to offer tour arrangements or to check on our breakfast orders.
Laundry service was most appreciated.
Cons:
Breakfast is less than spectacular- this is only a very minor issue, however the hotel's rates are expensive and the meal does not fit the bill.
Aqua Suite Indoor pool would be swapped for the jacuzzi anyday- a much cheaper room rate for the Marine Suite.
The first bottle of water was on the house, after this it is an expense added to the account. Are you kidding?
Room for improvement:
Given the standard of the hotel, I would expect a higher standard of breakfast.
Given the standard of the hotel and the rates charged, I think daily cocktails, drinks and hors d'oeuvres should at least be offered. In fact I would say that it almost seemed as if this was missing. Just a bottle of wine and a small platter each day to enjoy with the spectacular sunset would fit.
Water is cheap and to expect guests to pay for it on top of the high rates is preposterous. To offer continuous free bottled water would be a very cheap, but appreciated gesture. I have stayed at several hotels, all over the world, where bottled water is free.
Would I stay here again? You bet I would. Probably in the Marine Suite.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Having stayed in the Aqua Suite with indoor cave pool, and looking through Marine Suite with it'...
