My husband and I stopped here after seeing the adorable "Rent a Cat" sign out front. So many peopled were just taking photos of the front of the store and then moving on- but please go in!! Floor to ceiling books and a fantastic selection at that. Well worth the stop! I loved every nook of this store!
If this store existed as is in NYC it would be top 5 of the best bookstores left! The owner loves his books and his bookish people. There are classics and surprises and smartly assorted deep dive sections. Its smallish, but looks like the floor below where the kid was reading the never ending story.
I got a great recommendation and found a little volume of an obscure Camus as a gift.
Great to see a real bookstore in the middle of the tourist muddle.
While planning our trip to Greece, I stumbled upon the name of this book store on a list of "Best book stores in the world". I couldn't wait to go. It was wonderful! Quaint and beautiful and it smelled like heaven. I wanted to stay there and never leave. It was delightful! A must visit for bibliophiles in the area. Also - their rooftop provides a great view and photo spot.
This place was so cute and absolutely lovely! If you're a bookstore junkie, this is a wonderful place to see if you're in Oia. The owners use every available inch in the store and it's very cozy. Some great titles! There are quotes everywhere and even a history of the bookstore painted on the wall. It's a little pricey, but no more than any other independent bookstore in the states. Titles in various languages and friendly staff. Love this place.
There can't be a book shop in the world with such a great view from its roof. Then inside is plastered with quotes from all over and has such soul that it's worth just browsing. Aside from £2k copies of Jane Austen and the like, there are tons of contemporary offerings with personal recommendations from staff. Can be a bit busy but that's a good thing as it needs to keep going!
VERY small cramped bookstore with tons of very expensive collectables. it is set up to be a very trendy hipster bookstore
