Easy to get to, it's on one of the main (shopping) streets in IA, on the cliff. There are 2 floors, either one is excellent, but try to get a seat by the rail/edge of balcony because the panaramic view is breathtaking (the first floor gets no direct sun, it can get really chilly, bring a sweater/jacket no matter how hot it is that day). The attached picture was taken while seated by the railing. We came for some quick tea and breakfast, and wound up staying for lunch. Because you feel like you're getting the best experience of the island just sitting on that cliff, looking out at those cute white buildings carved into jagged rocks, watching the clear blue sea, below you, and being served delicious food by the sweetest waitresses and staff. Recomend the pastries and any of the savory crepes with cheese. Truely one of the best things about Santorini. Nearby are 3 "black sand" beaches that are not worth visiting: Paradissos, Baxedes, and Koloubos. But if you have time to drive/ride about 45 minutes south, go visit Red Beach and have your mind blown by that natural phenomenon.

I especially liked this little cafe because it has an easy-going, casual style. It has a fantastic view of the Caldera. You can have a meal or just a light bite. In the 5 days we were there we visited this place 3 times - twice for breakfast and once for coffee. Staff were friendly - even remebering what we had ordered the first time!

We found ourselves at Skiza for breakfast 4 times in 11 days. The staff was sweet and sociable. We enjoyed the view of the caldera as we enjoyed our coffee. I recommend the Greek Yogurt with honey/fruit/walnuts and the omelette with peppers tomato and Gouda. Also the sweets were less sugary than Melino's ( a good thing). They are right in the heart of Oia, just up from the main square.

We went here twice during our four-day stay in Oia and, if we'd found it on the first morning, we'd have gone there every day! I've got "Skizo" scribbled down rather than "Skiza" but then the Greek alphabet doesn't translate easily into English and looking at the reviews this is definitely the same place.

Skiza/Skizo is on the main Oia walkway and is easily identified by the delicious-looking flaky pastries that are in the window. These are obviously rotated around often because they always looked fresh (our main reason for the first visit). There's an upstairs terrace, but we were able to get tables on the small seating area both mornings that we went.

The breakfasts were, quite simply, the best meals we had while in Santorini. I had bacon and eggs one morning and an omlette on the second while my partner had chocolate croisant first and fruit salad the next day. Both were served with toast, fresh (fresh!!) bread and coffee and the breakfast deal on the first morning also included the most delicious freshly-squeezed orange juice.

Service was prompt, without being rushed in any way, and you really got the feeling that they were glad to have you in and pleased to serve you.

Prices are staggeringly reasonable given the location and the view is absolutely out of this world. They're only a small place, and it's obviously only the customers that have included them on here so please visit - they really do deserve your custom.

OMG!!! is the only thing I can really say about the food!!! WOW...It was so terrific, that we went there 3 times during our honeymoon. The prices are reasonable...and the food was amazing...I recommend the santorini salad...It was made with local grilled vegetables from Santorini, along with the freshest olive oil, and native Feta cheese...certainly enough for 2 people looking to share in a light lunch...I recommend sitting upstairs...The service is ok.
